During Covid we ordered "crumb cakes" they were sent in mail over night, perfectly wrapped not to break apart. The cakes were delicious and very moist.

Found this bakery today, we bought a few different things and the owner gave the kids free cookies (because it was our first visit!) andmade a deal coz the kids had a budget that they couldn't fit into.the donuts, cakes, eclairs were FRESH and really good. No crisco taste here !! We might need a frequent eater card :) definitely going to be regulars

I've been coming here for years and they're legendary across our family. We'll regularly drive the 50-60 minutes to come here - it's that good! The crumb cake is famous and the best crumb cake ever. It will literally ruin any other crumb cake for you. They do other flavors too and ship worldwide. The crumb cake freezes beautifully. If you need more than one or want a custom crumb cake (yes, they'll do custom flavors), call a few days ahead. The cake is sold whole but you'll go through it quick because it's so good. The other baked goods are always fantastic. The staff is super friendly. They do take credit card now but there's a minimum. Please bring cash. The decor is always lovely inside.

Carrot cake has a little bit of carrot. No cream cheese flavor in the frosting. Very sweet.

I came and immediately I was hit with the smell of freshly baked goods. I was helped almost immediately and was met with very kind staff. I got a sourdough bread and a cheesecake. The sourdough was incredible. Definitely coming back!

My family and neighbors have come here for years. NO MORE. Their highly rated??? crumb cake was raw inside (like that one review with the photo that showed a rolled up dough ball, or I should say "fish bait"!) and the topping was a mushy unbaked mess (not at all crumbly). Also, the small triangular cookies (like the cream cheese ones my mom used to make) had NO flavor, NO butter AND dried out after 2 days to the hardness of a stone that'll break your teeth if you bite into them! Lastly, the blonde middle-aged woman (owner, manager? who has been there forever) is the rudest person and needs retraining on customer service. MY NEW FIND IS A GEM - Francesca's on Market St Clifton = higher quality and very reasonably priced! Do yourself a favor and go there instead!

Enjoy their crumb cake, the cake was a wonderful consistency as well as the crumbs on top. My only complaint is that the crumb topping does overpower the cake. It is 75% crumb topping, and while it is still delicious I prefer a balance to the product. Despite this, I still end up purchasing their crumb cake because of how good it is. On the bright side, the bakery smells amazing once you walk in! And it was decorated well for the holidays. I recommend people to try this place.

I just happened to stumble across this bakery in search of the best crumb cake in New Jersey (I was visiting from California). Another bakery was recommended, however, they were closed for the week. I am so glad my search lead me here! It was so worth it! The crumb cake was absolutely amazingly buttery and the crumb to cake ratio was about 75% crumb and 25% cake! Perfect ratio in my opinion. Yum Yum!!! The owner, Tina, was so kind and welcoming! Her bakery proudly uses REAL and fresh ingredients and it is evident in the quality and taste of the Crumb Cake. Styertowne also knows that it all about the crumb, so you will not be disappointed. I also got a chocolate chip cookie which was really good too! Whenever I crave another buttery Crumb Cake from New Jersey, luckily Styertowne ships around the country! Finally, this is a small, family-owned Business and I was so happy to support it and will continue to order from them or visit them in the future!

The scones from this place are fresh and so good. I like that they are not loaded with a ton of sugar. I had the cranberry scone.

I always stop in here to get the kolaski cookies (it's a cream cheese dough with preserves inside). They are absolutely perfection and even at $1 a cookie, they're so worth it.
