We enjoyed dining in this beautiful restaurant, and the whole experience was complete. We had a great dining experience with the seating service, especially when I had the Kufta Kebab. Each bite felt like it was unleashing a perfectly balanced juicy succulence of the flavors, brought irresistibly forward by the mastery of spice handling from the hands of the chef. But really and honestly, the service did do a great deed toward our lifted evening. Our waitress indeed topped the experience, literally and metaphorically. Each of us was more than comfortable and happy. It truly made a great evening. But the true ambiance setters were the live musical performers. This delightful background and the cozy yet stylish restaurant decoration set an inspiring mood. I highly recommend this gem for its excellent culinary service, vibrant vibes, and immaculate service. Such a place is recommendable to all those who would like to treat themselves to dining out.

Very disappointing iftar buffet food for an atrocious amount of money. We went with 4 adults , 4 kids all under the age of 6/7. There was nothing on the menu which was child friendly so if you have kids who aren’t food adventurous - don’t even bother. Food was okay, nothing special , people were nice. Dessert was terrible, it’s just some sweet with a platter of non- exciting fruit. With 4 adults and 4 kids under 6, our bill was $340+ which is insane - kids under 10 should be free or at least have the option of a kid menu. Some of the food was not even hot and honestly for the money charged the spread wasn’t impressive at all.

Food - 2 stars Ambiance - 4 stars Service - 1 star We were a party of 2 and automatically charged an 18% service fee which is unheard of for small parties. We were rushed eating for the Iftar buffet even though we were seated 30 minutes later and then had the bill in our face in less than an hour. The service was really terrible and for that I won't come back again. The buffet was also overpriced and it's probably better and cheaper to order entrees. They have a variety of Arabic dishes but nothing was named so you didn't know what you were taking. I would not recommend this place unless ur desperate and have no other options.

I went last night to break my fast with my family at Middle Eastern restaurant “Sultan Palace”. First I want to express my heartfelt thanks for the exceptional service the waitress Marwa provided. Her warm smile, attentive attitude, and dedication to ensuring our dining experience was memorable and did not go unnoticed. The food was not only delicious but also plentiful, with a wide variety of dishes served at the Ramadan buffet. We could walk through the buffet and savor all the unique flavors that Middle Eastern cuisine has to offer.Additionally, the atmosphere and the owner’s friendly and welcoming demeanor made us feel right at home and enhanced our overall dining experience.Thank you once again Marwa for your outstanding service. We look forward to returning to the restaurant in the future to enjoy more of the delightful food and excellent service you provided.Warm regards,

Great food We had many things for our table of 15 Tabbouleh, fattoush, hummus, grape leaves stuffed, Kibbeh, and the mixed grill. What a wonderful spread with well seasoned meats that were juicy and delicious. I usually am iffy with chicken but this chicken was cooked well and juicy ! Service is good, takes a while for the meat to come out x If you are sensitive to smoke, be careful as this is a hooka bar.

Last night went out with my family for dinner. We were 4 women and 2 boys. As soon as we entered we requested a smoke free section because we had children who have asthma induced my smoke and another teen who is battling cancer. We were seated in the corner and there was one table of two men who were smoking hookah. So we asked for the opposite end of the room and also asked to crack open the windows for circulation. As the hour proceeded more male patrons entered and more smoking ensued. Service was really slow so we got our entrees very late. Of service was fast we probably would have beat all the smoke patrons. So finally we get our meals and the waiters are setting up a table next to us with hookah. I walked up to the waiters and informed him that the teen has cancer and the smoke is going to harm her. They scrambled to move the table but then their manager waved to them to continue setting up next to us. The patrons were seated and we had to rush through our meal so we could just leave at that point. As I was leaving and after I paid my bill with the automatic 18% gratuity = $30, I told them what they did was not nice and not fair. They just shrugged their shoulders. The waiter said the manager only cared about the money more than the care. Needless to say we will never be revisiting Sultans again. So shameful. Not Islamic at all. Throughly disappointed.

Went for dinner last night and there was only one table with customers who were smoking hookah. since the entire restaurant was empty, we asked to be seated in a far conrner away from the hookah smell because we had 2 asthmatics and an immunocompromised relative dining with us. despite only have 2 tables of customers their service was super slow. regardless, we enjoyed the food when it did eventually come out. however, the restaurant started to get busy and more people with hookah were being seated. we asked for a window to be opened for ventilation. despite most of the restaurant still being empty, they seated another table right next to us with hookah. we were respectful and asked if they can move that table because we were still eating dinner and the hookah smell was really bothering us. we pointed out there was another table on the opposite end of the restaurant that could accommodate those people. they ignored us. we proceeded to rush thru dinner, that we paid a lot of money for, and left. the food is honestly good. but the customer service is absolutely terrible. I never leave bad reviews for anyone, but we were genuinely hurt by their behavior.

I'm not sure why their average review rating isn't at least 4+ stars at the time of this review, but I've had middle Eastern food all over Paterson, and this has to be some of the best food I've ever had. The mint lemonade was very good, better than Abasha for comparison. The appetizer platter was fresh and full of flavor. The best part of the meal for me was the kofta kebab platter. The kofta was full of flavor and juicy. Usually kofta at restaurants is overcooked/dry and lacking in flavor, that wasn't the case here. It's also a nice environment with hookah if you're into that. Definitely going again.

My husband and I drive 30 minutes just to enjoy the amazing food this restaurant has to offer!! We are always greeted with a massive smile and we always leave with a massive smile. I love how they are consistent with the quality and flavor of their menu. So many restaurants are good one day and awful the next. We usually order the mixed grill platter. The appetizers are delicious as well. If you are looking for a quiet night out it’s great during the week or early on weekends. It does fill up later in the evening if you are into a more social happening vibe. I personally think the price is worth the quality and just wish they were closer. I couldn’t recommend this restaurant more! The establishment is TRULT AMAZING.
