I have been coming here since the place opened. Today was the first time I had a negative experience. I sat at the bar and ordered a Cajun chicken sandwich as well as a drink. It took over 45 minutes for the food to arrive. The bartender didn't pay much attention that my friend's food had arrived before mine did when he ordered after me and didn't think to inquire more about why I was still sitting at the bar waiting for my food order to come. In the past when I've gone the bartenders were much more attentive and concerned about making sure me and my party were taken care of. The fact I had to say something to another staff person there without the bartender. It sucks because I really like coming to the Colts Neck Pub. I've been here many times before and had great service. But the fact that this bartender wasn't even apologetic about my food taking forever speaks volumes. I also came here last year around my birthday and the bartender then was more charismatic about it beingy birthday than the bartender today. The bartender even had the nerve to say "oh you have friends" when I mentioned I was waiting for my friend to arrive. I get that bartenders will make remarks at times but I was surprised she would make a remark like that right off the bat without really talking to me. I am giving this review 3 stars because the food was really good. I will give this place another shot but this bartender was not my favorite by a long shot.

Went in one night and sat at the bar for food and a few beers. We got to experience 3 different bartenders (shift change) and they were ALL great!!! We had such a good time, the food was very good and we'll definitely be going back!

I love the food. Everything I've had has been awesome.. there Calamari is awesome.. and if you like loaded fries try them here. You will be okay. Drinks are great and they have a good selection of liquors. It is in Colts Neck so be prepared for some price differences but this place is awesome.Parking: On the left and right if establishment, handicap parking available

I have been coming to Colts Neck Pub since they opened around a year ago. I have had nothing but pleasant experiences all around. The staff (Jenn and John the bartenders, Jenn and Suzey the servers, Brian the owner) have all been so kind and welcoming and the food (I am obsessed with ALL of their soups!) has been delicious and FRESH. I would certainly recommend this place to everyone ! :)Dietary restrictions: Always willing to tend to my personal dietary restrictions with a smile

More like a local dive bar with food than any pub or restaurant. Food was ok. Bar service was awful. Only had 2 drinks in almost 3 hours. Not because I wasn't thirsty.Dark, random stuff on TV. Really not into watching animal surgery while I'm eating.I dont live in the area anymore but it won't be on the list next time I'm visiting.

Just dropped in as I was passing through. Staff and bartender very nice and polite, even though they recognized I’m from Texas. lol. Seriously, even the customers were friendly. Would definitely go out of my way to stop again, and will come hungry to try the food. Menu looked good.

Nice little bar to watch a game n relax .. stopped in on my way to see a friend and ended up staying to watch a basketball game n hang.
You can add cheesesteak and coleslaw along with t the chicken burrito and chili nachos as OUTSTANDING!
