The food at Via Sposito does not disappoint. Everything we had was delicious. We ordered fried calamari and rice balls for appetizers- both were delicious. There were 4 of us and we ordered 2 chicken parm dinners and two linguine and white clams sauce. All the dinners were great. The clams were nice and large. The one complaint that we have about this restaurant is that it is very loud. The acoustics are not good and they had music piped in that was too loud. It makes it difficult to have a conversation at the table without screaming at each other. It is the one reason we don't go here more often.

The service was amazing. Our waitress was super nice and the pasta dishes were delicious. A special of fig and goat cheese was amazing. And the pizza was delicious don't know if I can eat pizza at another establishment. The pizza dough tasted as if it was pizza from Italy!!!!! Highly recommend!!!!!!

Everything thing about this place is great. Starting with our server, Dolores was very knowledgeable about the menu, and her recommendation was on point. She was there for whatever we needed. The food was great, and I would definitely recommend Via Sposito to everyone...

We had lunch with friends who had never been there before. We all enjoyed our meals. We returned for lunch today after being there with friends two weeks ago. My wife ordered the Margharita Pizza and I had the eggplant parmigiana. Both were outstanding! To our taste, the eggplant parm is the best that we've ever had, and we've been to many Italian restaurants, The pizza is also outstanding with very tasty sauce and home made mozzarella.

Nothing about this experience was particularly good. The menu I saw online did not indicate sandwiches were only on weekdays. The staff were very unprofessional. The food was thoroughly unimpressive and way overpriced. The truffle pizza especially- we're pretty convinced there was no truffle involved! Also, what kind of Italian restaurant gives bottled sangria? Gross. Would not consider going here again.

I absolutely love this restaurant but had an off experience. I ordered the lobster fra diablo. The seafood, while very fresh, was not properly drained thus creating a very wet sloppy sauce that lacked flavor. As a matter of fact, the poor waiter spilled the dish all over the table and needed to clean it before we could eat. As I said this was definitely not the norm and will continue to be a repeat customer.

The service and the food were both excellent. We went on a Saturday night without reservations not realizing how busy it would be. They were very accommodating and for us a table pretty quickly. Had pizza and pasta. Would recommend both.

Wow...Just Wow. This restaurant accommodated more than a dozen of us on a Saturday night and handled everything flawlessly. The pizza, arancini, and calamari were Manhattan Grade quality. The chicken cutlets used in the Francese and Parmigiano dishes were juicy and tasted fresh cut. I was a little skeptical about the Zeppoli offered for dessert...they were some of the finest fresh baked pastries you will ever have. Anthony in the Kitchen and Dolores out front are young, smart and already at the top of their game. We fell in love with this place....obviously my hoarde of relatives will be back again.

Tried this restaurant for the first time, we saw the online menu and there was a clam pizza with white clam sauce. We got to the restaurant and it was not on the menu.. we asked the waitress and she said they would make it for us. We also ordered a Caesar Salad which should have been served first, but the pie arrived first. The pizza had 6 slices with 1 clam shell atop each slice, no chopped clams, no white clam sauce. They charged us $36.00 for this nonsense which was tasteless. It was not what you'd call a clam pizza or have the audacity to charge $36.00 for it. The Caesar Salad was not crisp, it was soggy. Wouldn't waste my time or money again.

Heard really good things and decided to try.. we saw the online menu and saw a clam pizza pie with white clam sauce. When we got to the restaurant it was not on their menu but the waitress said they can make it, no problem. We ordered that and a Caesar Salad. The pie came way before the salad, which by the way was soggy, and not crisp. The pie came with one opened clam shell on each of the 6 slices... no chopped clams, no white clam sauce and they had the audacity to charge $36.00 for this ridiculous nonsense of a clam pie. It was tasteless and so poor. We are not complainers, we don't send food back.... But we will never return.

Via Sposito never disappoints. Nice friendly atmosphere and delicious food and great service. Our server Dolores was sweet and attentive. Anthony the owner a down to earth regular guy. Looking forward to stopping in their Colts Neck and Red Bank locations.

Reservation was held and we were seated immediately. The food was delicious. The pork chop my friend ordered looked mouth watering. Another enjoyed the stuffed chicken. Zuppa di pescatore was delicious. Friendly atmosphere. I'll be back.

This is a cute little place that was recommended by a co-worker. The wife and I had the fresh mutz, a small margaritas pie, and the steak bruschetta for appetizers that we enjoyed immensely. We also split a bronzini dish, which was also excellent

The food was absolutely amazing. We had everything from pizza to pasta to seafood. All of it was so fresh and tasty! And the staff is super friendly and accommodating. Great experience!
