A perfect place for lunch with friends and a taste of authentic Greek foods and drinks. The staff is very friendly and they make you feel at home. Food was excellent. Upstairs is a great place for groups to gather, eat, and socialize. A must try, you’ll be back! Thank you for a great lunch! Just steps from the park, lake and walking trails. Situated in the center of town, a perfect place to stop while you shop.

Good is spotty, service doesn't exist and how does a dinner place close at 7p!? Nice people though

The best baklava I’ve had in a long time! The spanakopita is also very flavorful and delicious. Irene, thank you for the warm welcome. I look forward to my next visit soon.

Excellent food and service and spotless. There are a few Greek restaurants in my area. However, the market on Maine is my go to restaurant for takeout and delivery. I am Greek American and I know what Greek food is supposed to taste like and the market on Maine is far superior to any restaurant that I have tried of Greek cuisine.

Hits the spot every time I’m in town. Excellent Greek salad, breakfast sandwiches, spanakopita, dolmades, and Greek fries

Great food, cookies and lattes. I usually go there during my break and are often disappointed when they are closed!

I've yet to make it to Greece, but the Market on Main delivers a Taste of Greece right in downtown Cranbury. The little eatery has outdoor as well as indoor seating. The outside front porch on Main Street is so quaint and reminds me off another time. The first floor and upstairs dining area are both very open and roomy.Everything from the Veggie Reggie, Greek Sammy, to the Gyros, to the Waffles have been simply wonderful. They also have various Greek sweets, some of which are imported from Greece. There is also cheese available by the pound. I've been here several times for breakfast, lunch and coffee. In addition to the wonderful food, the owner Penny and Manager, Irene, are both so lovely and friendly. Irene has been very accommodating upon every visit. It's wonderful to see a small family run business in the heart of Cranbury.

A true hidden gem serving some of the best casual food in the area! Lots of familiar Greek dishes such as souvlaki, gyro and different variations of baklava too! The owner is clearly a veteran of the industry with good selection of Greek/Mediterranean ready to eat and fresh frozen foods. Friendly workers and a nice airy and beautiful place to sit inside. Support local, try this place for quick meals and "Greek coffee" and pastries.

Thank you yelpers for recommending this place! We ordered dine in as a small group for a Saturday lunch and it was so hard to decide what on the menu to try. We had the cheese triangles for appetizer, the ooze of the filling was so luxurious. I ordered the pastitsio which was rich and flavorful. Our group also ordered the spanakopita and a gyro, loved both of those as well. The portions are huge for the price! We also got desserts to go and they were all fun in texture and not too sweet. My favorite was the orange cake soaked in syrup. The orange flavor is so intense and lovely. The service was attentive and considerate. There are a few tables inside and more outside and upstairs for dine in. I enjoyed browsing the different items on their market shelves as well. I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu! Street parking is plentiful and it's in a very cute neighborhood.

My wife and I enjoy walking in Cranbury and we read great reviews about this restaurant. We walked in and were quickly greeted and directed to a round table on the first floor. We could have chosen to eat outside or on the second floor. The first floor has a bakery, cheese counter, prepared food in a refrigerated upright, and beverages. I ordered the Veggie Reggie sandwich and my wife had the Greek Salad. The taste of both was excellent. My sandwich was the tastiest eggplant and red pepper combo I’ve ever had. We will be returning soon with friends.

Very nice owners. Food is very good. The frozen dishes to take home are excellent, just remember to ask for cooking instructions.
