It was a one and done! Nice atmosphere but noisy. BYOB a plus. Service was very amateurish. Served main dishes while still eating appetizers. Took several requests to get extra napkins. Food- App. Thai salad was a large portion but just Ok in the taste department, lacking the peanut flavor associated with that dish. Thai Crispy Duck salad was again a portion with a generous amount of duck and veggies. The duck was not at all crispy, but very flavorful although it had too much of an onion flavor for my pallet. Main Dish- Calamari Pad Thai - Large portion but lacking moistness and flavor in both the (rubbery)calamari and noodles. Tried to add extra sauces to flavor it up but was without success. Tarimond Whole fish with vegetables- Large portion of fish with excellent asparagus, carrots, baby corn etc. Vegetables were very good and again a large portion. The whole fish visual presentation however was unappetizing with the whole fish served lying flat on the plate w/ its head and tail pointing upward topped with onions and nuts sprinkled on top. The fish was plated on top of the veggies, which were barely visible. With only a smattering of taramind sauce under the fish and veggies the fish lacked flavor . The fish was served hot from the kitchen but was over done dry and very hard to slide the meat off the bones. Again I tried to add sauce to add flavor and moisture but was not able to succeed. The white rice was good. The Thai ice tea was excellent. Didn't order hot tea because it was only a teabag in a cup ($4.59) No desert was had because we already had enough to say "one and done". Sorry-but an honest personal review.

Two good meals for lunch and they were consistently delicious. Had the chicken ginger lunch special with spring rolls (which were a little oily). My friend had drunken noodles and loved it.Kid-friendliness: Not sure if the food options are great for kids

8Thai was good when it first opened. However, I came back multiple times afterwards and decided I will not be ordering again since there is a better Thai restaurant in town that gives more for your money and is more authentic. The only upside about this restaurant is that it looks nice. The pad thai was dry and not flavorful. I was so disappointed because I was craving pad Thai all day and it was one of the worst pad Thais I’ve ever eaten when I ordered. You’d expect the pad Thai from a Thai restaurant to be better than a Chinese takeout restaurant, but it is not. In the summer time I remember it being good, but since then, it is subpar.I ordered again another time, trying something else. The pad see ew unfortunately was not better. The sauce is tastes like fake maple syrup mixed with soy sauce. This is not restaurant level food. It tastes like I tried to make the sauce at home with La Choy and Aunt Jemima. Very inauthentic ingredients.Lastly, it’s expensive. For example, you will only get 3 curry puffs instead of 4 for 10 dollars. The restaurant looks nice and it’s BYOB, but the food is not really good. Anyone who reviewed recently and said the food was good must not know what good Thai is or got a different chef. I can only speak for noodles. Maybe they make pickup orders at a lower quality than if you sit in. Not sure, but I won’t be ordering again.

Went there for a quick family meal (party of 3), by the time we arrived (5:00pm) we were asked if we had a reservation (the place was empty), I was told that the place was fully booked this evening. When I asked our waitress if that meant that there were no tables available, she just needed to say that. She just smiled and said that it was ok (!?)When I went to wash my hands, I saw the staff by the kitchen having fun (you can really tell that they enjoy what they do), they even waved back at my kid.The food and appetizers came up quickly, so far no complaints on that front, the only thing that I found a little bit bland were the summer rolls.By the time we were done (6:15pm), there were only 2 tables occupied and nobody outside waiting to enter the restaurant, so I had no idea where the whole "we are fully booked this evening" came from.

Staff is very friendly, informative, and accomodating. The decore and atmosphere are minimalist, modern, and clean. The food though it was descent was not the best Thai food we have had, but that assessment is mostly due to the fact we have been spoiled by some really outstanding Thai joints. The summer rolls were awsome thought. I suspect if I had the latb or papaya salad, I would have enjoyed them better. If you are vegan or vegetarian, be aware it isn't one of the vegetarian friendly restaurants. Most of the dishes have either fish sauce, shrimp, or chicken stock in them, leving a very minimal options for vegans/vegetarians. I hope this changes in the future.

We had an early dinner on a Sunday evening. The place was nicely decorated and clean. This was our first visit. The restaurant was empty when we arrived, but it quickly picked up within 30 minutes. We brought a bottle of wine along for the meal. We ordered the crab Rangoon, Pad Thai w/chicken, and the Red Curry w/chicken. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, and the service was quick and attentive. We will return for that curry dish as it was full of flavor!

The worst thai food we ever tried. We ordered 4 meals: noodles and fried rice were just ok - the other two were barely edible. The shrimps were hard to chew (literally) and the duck was extremely dry. We put an order at 8pm which may explain why the food was stale - even the rice was not fresh, apparently everything was warmed up and not just prepared.

Not 8thai. Lokal coffee shop. Features breakfast and lunch. Only whole milk, no low fat milk. Fries were meh. Burger was good.Dietary restrictions: Odd selections. No real focus and some gaps for those with specific needs.
