Went there twice, once during the weekend, once during the week. I was impressed with how well the food was presented and the quantity. I'd say if you want brunch, waffles, pancakes, anything with eggs great but if you're looking for a delicious burger don't bother, can you say flavorless, soggy and defrosted. Coffee isn't the best. I love a good desert, don't come here if you have a sweet tooth they have very few options especially during the week. It's a small place, you may have to wait for a spot and they are quick to get you out the door. At the end the waiters give you a check without even asking if you're done which I think is rude, don't decide for me when I'm done. Don't think I will be going back.

First- everyone was happy and pleasant! Everyone. Next- service fast and friendly- no rush, they were able to answer some questions. Menu is extensive..wow- hard to decide [5 kinds of avacado toast! Several skillet fry concoctions! Oh I can't list everything]. Price- as we expect these days.Very convenient to the train station, too (ok, check their name). Booths, counter, and tables.Win.

Tried The Station House for the first time for a birthday brunch. Their huge menu was filled with all kinds of good offerings for breakfast or lunch. Our group decided on lunch items. No one was disappointed in the food. The quality, portions, and service were excellent. Of special note was the crab cake sandwich which came with two very large crab cakes! More crab than filling, too. The soups were excellent. Our waitress was attentive and helpful. Would recommend The Station House to anyone who appreciates straightforward good cooking and service.

Always love trying out diners and brunch spots around Union County! Cranford Station House is definitely high up on the list for us with our second time trying their food! We were immediately seated with no wait time on a week day at peak lunch time! The menu has a great selection for both breakfast and lunch -- I got the station panini and replaced the roasted red peppers with grilled mushrooms, included with soup of the day and fries or house salad! My boyfriend got the corn beef hash and eggs plate and our friend got french toast along with corn beef and eggs as a side. The waitress was very accommodating and customized the french toast since one item was unavailable. 10/10 and will definitely be going back!

Don't think twice about saying yes if you're deciding whether to eat here or not. My gf and I tried this restaurant because it had good reviews while we were on a trip to NYC but staying in NJ. Her best friend joined us and loved it so much that she said she was gonna need to take her man there one day. My gf and I ordered the Colombian omelet to share. It was huge! And it came with home fries and toast. The omelet was soooo good. A little bit of spice thanks to the jalapeños. I also ordered the Reese's peanut butter pancakes because I'm a huge peanut butter and Reese's fan. The pancakes were as big as a normal plate and there were 3 of them. They were fluffy and delicious. I loved the Reese's pieces on top and it was my favorite pancakes ever! My gf ordered a waffle with berries and it was a great waffle. Her best friend ordered the fruity pebble French toast I believe. She loved it. The service was quick. Especially for it being such a busy Sunday morning. There just so happened to be 3 seats at the bar top so we sat there. The wait staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. They got our drinks and orders in quick. The ambiance is that of a little old school diner. Even though it was opened in 2019, the place reminds you of an old school place. It's small inside and there can definitely be a wait. But man is the wait worth it. The prices here are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. I think the pancakes are $15 for 3 giant ones. The omelet was $16 for all the food on that plate. Recommend getting here early if you want to avoid as much of a wait.
