This is one of the few sushi places (if not the only one) in the area and surrounding towns that has a great vegan sushi option. Namely, vegetable maki roll is very good. While most other sushi places in the area offer very bland vegan options like a cucumber roll or avocado roll and nothing else re: rolls, Mizo sushi vegetable maki roll offers a nice combination of various textures and flavors all in one. So, a nice place to get vegan sushi in Cranford.And if you go to NYC, I super highly recommend Beyond Sushi, a fully vegan restaurant offering “gourmet” sushi experience. Minds and taste buds of both vegans and non-vegans are guaranteed to be blown away. That would be a Michelin-star grade experience.

Absolutely fresh sushi and the owners Gary and Andy are such sweethearts and great service I recommend and the American dream roll. The vibe there is amazing and calm not too crazy either
The service has significantly changed since last year. We had a nice lady serving us when we arrived and halfway-through, we suddenly had a new male server. Who was not as nice and just brought us food and things. He was not as personable as she was. For some reason, The food was not as tasty this time either. Still love the location and quaint atmosphere is beautiful. This was our favorite special occasion spot, although we were a bit disappointed with the service this time. Whatever they were doing last September... please do it again!

This sushi restaurant is among my favorite places to get Japanese food. My kids, who are quite picky about sushi, specifically enjoyed the avocado eel roll as well as the spicy tuna rolls. I can get quite inpatient, but the service was quick so we did not spend that long waiting. Terrific! We go for our Sushi Sundays.
I have been here a few times. Never a disappointment. I love their specialty rolls. Miso soup was tasty and the staff has always been attentive and friendly. Highly recommended.
Amazing food, super affordable, I come in pretty frequently because they have a great lunch special and I work nearby. The staff are also super friendly, I remember a sweet lady actually holding my daughter when she was small when we all came in one day for lunch. The inside of the restaurant is clean and attractive. I always recommend this place to anyone asking where to eat in town

I ordered a sashimi dinner had a delivered. Everything was delicious fresh and the delivery person was top rate. I really enjoy this place.
Ordered a crazy salmon roll + salmon toll for take out. Service was good, and my order came out in about 10 minutes (it wasn't too busy at the restaurant when I placed my order). Salmon was very good, buttery, and not fishy at all. Fish-to-rice ratio was great as well. Wasn't really a fan of the tempura crunch they had on top of the crazy salmon roll, but everything else was great! Hoping to return soon to try out some other items they have!
