Very good veggie filled empanadas, but I felt bad for the staffperson working solo who had to take orders and prep food. This was my first time visiting, so I fully acknowledge that it may not always be this way and that this might have been the result of someone calling out or having an emergency, etc. I just hope that isn't the norm. It made for slow service and I felt anxious for the 1 person having to do all the work.

First and foremost, the young lady who took my order was nice. However, I know it's not a big deal but I was charged for two items the j*** and creole chicken yumpandadas $1 more. The price on the kisok menu and the to-go menu says $3.75. I asked the lady why i was charged those prices and she said those are the new ones. I asked, why werent the new prices listed on both menus, she couldnt give me a reason. The young lady called the manager to see if I could get a refund which I was told no. All in all, she was nice but I was charged wrong price. False advertising. If you changed your prices in the computer than your menu prices needs to reflect that.

Thank You to Yelp for pointing us in the direction of this place! My husband is vegan and we are always looking for places to cater to his diet. The unique combination of Caribbean food and vegan options was the best thing ever! The owner was there and was absolutely wonderful and explained everything on the menu and even pointed us in the direction of home made fruit juices that were amazing! We ordered a beyond meat empanada with chimichurri sauce, and it was seasoned so well we realized we didn't even need the sauce (although it was amazing also). Then we both ordered the vegan j*** bowl with yellow rice and pikliz (spicy Haitian cole slaw). It was the perfect combination of flavor and spice! We like spicy and it was the right amount of "hot". I suggest the tostones they were amazing to take the edge off and enjoy the rest of the meal. Can't wait to go back and try more!

Not great. Tried a few things.. Buffalo chicken empanada: it was just dry chicken. Not sure what was supposed to be Buffalo about it. I expected it to have hot sauce and a bleu cheese dressing inside. Creole chicken empanada: again just dry chicken Buffalo chicken creole bowl: tasted like it was made yesterday. Dry and sad. 20 Oz strawberry lemonade: it's actually 16oz and it's just water and flavored high fructose corn syrup My kids got the beef and meatball parm empanadas and said there wasn't much filling and the outside was dry and flavorless. The maduros were the best part, I guess they were made fresh as opposed to everything else which tasted like it was left out all night.

I'm not even sure where to start with this review. First off I had heard such good things about how delicious the food was and how juicy and incredible the empanadas were and needless to say I am unbelievably disappointed with this place! My friend and I were craving Empanadas but didn't have a lot of time due to working. We found this place via google and figured lets try it out. Now I will first say I am all about supporting local business especially during tough times! We arrived at around 7:45 which is late yes but we were hungry. We ordered 6 J*** Chicken Empanadas and 3 Creole Chicken Empanadas. The total came out to be about $34. When we got back to work we immediately grabbed plates and dove into the empanadas! The first bite was almost zero filling and The chicken was incredibly dry and flavorless. After opening up the empanada completely we found that it was barely half filled with the j*** chicken filling and the creole chicken filling. I'm not sure if it was because it was the end of the night and they just reheated whatever they had but they did not taste fresh, nor where they made fresh when we were there, which is understandable to an extent since its the end of the night they were not oily and greasy nor were they bounding with flavor. Regrettably my friend and I proceeded to look at each other with this disappointed look on our faces. We ended up throwing out almost $30 worth of food and having to eat something else! This place is really not With all of the rave reviews and everybody recommending it we had such high hopes we were so disappointed. I regrettably will most likely not be returning.

Really good empanadas, excited to try their Haitian Burritos. Great local small business.

I've tried their empanadas during Cranford's Taste of Cranford this summer and recently ate there last night. We had a salad bowl and their plantain sandwich. So creative! And delicious!

Parking was great, right out front on a saturday afternoon ~1PM. Quick and friendly service and very tasty! Especially the sauces! I'd take pictures but it smelled too good to not eat it immediately!

I was in the mood for empanadas so stopped by this spot. Parking is tough in the area so parked a little distance and walked. I walked in and seen what they had for the day. I was delighted that they had vegan options as well as meat options. I ordered the creole chicken and the shrimp empanadas. The total came to a little over $8. When I got home I dug in and they both were so tasty. I also loved the mango sauce and another green sauce that was very tasty. The spot was Haitian inspired as well so the flavors were spot on. I definitely can't wait to return.

I own a dance studio around the corner and drop by regularly for a Patacon and a Hibiscus drink. Staff is nice and friendly. I’ve done 2 empanada catering orders and they were a hit each time. So glad there is a place bringing authentic caribbean food to Craford. Well Done!

I found their empanadas nasty. The only thing that is good there is their milk shake I give it 5 stars. I had the haitan one.? First of all I say whats on my mind boo if i think your empanadas nasty I think is nasty ok boo so check yourself before you speak. The reason i didn't want to return the empanadas because I don't want to hurt your feelings ok boo. So keep that in mind. You are a Hispanic women you need to know how to make good food.Just like your people.

This restaurant had a pretty diverse menu . But when we got our food, it was overpriced and definitely did NOT seem like it matched the description of the item on the menu. I order the Creole bowl with curry chicken, avocado, and yellow rice and peas. The avocado and tomato on another dish I ordered (salad) was cold. Would not eat here ever again $50 down the drain. I threw out the food after one bite.

I appreciate having vegan options, but seasoned cabbage doesn’t do it for me. My husband said the oxtail and Nutella empanada were good, but everything else we ordered was very underwhelming. We wouldn’t eat here again. Very disappointed. It is also over priced. $3.50 for one, not very good empanada.
