Food is horrible, I ordered fish and chips and not an ounce of seasoning. Remember yall cooking for humans not animals. I will never recommend or come back. Disgusting.

We ordered party tray A and B also have some tempura combo for delivery, firstly the food was awesome sashimi and sushi were so fresh and tasty , they also give to us extra ginger and dressing on the house for us , the deliver even so nice , just 30 minutes arrived at my home , we are so happy there are new and so incredible sushi place in tenafly , we will back ?

Should have paid attention to the reviews. Jack should be ashamed to serve the dried crumbling shrimp and frankly I just threw the fish in the garbage , what a complete waste of money. When the cook came out of the kitchen with an attitude and aggravated I think that was a clue. I was really looking forward to this visit, the place was empty - its always empty. I ordered the shrimp and fish, the best part was the French fries. A complete waste of money nothing like the Edgewater location. Will not return.

Okay soooo.. We wanted a lobster roll I'm from NY and Googled lobster roll this place showed up.. Now here's the crazy part, This place has the BEST LOBSTER roll I have ever had, fries insane the LOBSTER mac there was like 2 claws of LOBSTER Inside. I met the owner super nice man, and the gentleman that was running the shop super nice also. Honestly, this is a hidden gem, and I kinda wanna keep it to myself. Everything I'm in the area I will stop by for lobster

I’m a big fan of going up to Maine during the summer and eating as many lobster rolls as I possibly can during my time there. Now that might not be the healthiest option, but whatever, I’m on vacation. Anyway, Jack’s brings that Maine vacation energy to NJ. The lobster rolls are fantastic here. They taste fresh, not overly seasoned, and definitely emulates the feeling of a Maine summer. Love ordering from Jacks!

Today was our second and last time visiting this restaurant. On our first visit we enjoyed the food however, this evening my wife made a slight mistake with her order and chose food that she didn't realize she is allergic to. When she asked the waitress to change the order, the owner comes over to our table and explains her order is almost done, and if it's the wrong order you placed chose something else. He continues by saying, she can take the order she mistakingly made to go. I sat there and held my breath in unbelief. The audacity of him wanting to charge us for a meal my wife can't consume. We finish our meal, asked for our check and the waitress brings the food my wife mistakingly order. I told her to keep it, and said if my wife can't eat the food here, what makes you think she can eat it at home. I paid for our meals and the incorrect order. Needless to say I couldn't enjoy my meal after the owner came to our table. Lastly, we were the only couple in the restaurant and now I understand why the place was empty on a Saturday evening. The customer service is absolutey terrible. To Jack, or whoever the owner's name is, I hope you enjoyed the extra meal my wife couldn't eat that we paid for. You just lost another customer.

Went last night. Had fish and chips. Wasn't thrilled. I have patronized this establishment thrice. First time was pre pandemic. The fried fish was superb. It was a large filet ( you got two) and fried to perfection. Second time pas post pandemic. Not the same fish fry. I received 3 small pieces (1x4 inch rectangular). The fish was good however a bit greasy and soggy and overpriced. Since then they have relocated so I thought I'd give them another try. Wrong move. The fish was firm but greasy and soggy. Much like my previous experience. Very overpriced for disappointing food. Won't return. Such a shame. Not sure why but they're tack out business was booming. Can't imagine fried food not getting soggy during delivery.

I was a bit apprehensive to come here because of some of the negative reviews but I decided to give it a shot. The place was quaint and casual. Reminded me of something you would find down the shore. Seating was limited - possibly 24 people and I could see it being a tight squeeze for a full house but the table layout was on point. Now for the food. I was craving lobster roll and I would up ordering the Maine style. They nailed it. From what I can tell it was all tender claw meat and had just the right amount of everything. There was just enough mayo to bind it and that was it. The roll was buttered and lightly toasted. The serving size was just about right but the lobster to roll ratio was favoring the lobster meat. I can say this roll was better than the majority of anything you could find in NJ. Well done!Fish and chips were average. The fish was cod and was battered well. The serving size was more than ample. The fries were average. My only complaint was that these may have been a commercial frozen variety. It tasted more fresh than frozen so I may be wrong but all the battered fish looked identical. Nonetheless my bite was quite good. The shrimp tacos were excellent. They weren't on the menu, but they they should be soon according to our server. The shrimp were seasoned and cooked perfectly. The red cabbage and all the fixings tasted fresh. They were served on small soft corn shells. I wish there were 3 instead of 2 but they were nicely packed. The burger was above average for what you would expect. I had the fried clam strips and they were tasty although the breading to clam ratio was off in my opinion. Service was fast, friendly and attentive. My BIGGEST complaint which drove our group insane was the "on hold" music blasting in the place. It was painful and at some points depressing. Even the couple next to us mention something. Please change it. It took away from a nice dining experience. This place would do great with a little Jimmy Buffet. I would definitely come here again but maybe for takeout unless the music changes.
