Just amazing service and customer friendly approach. .. we had an event there and it was just amazingggg.. lots of parking outside . Food was so good . Non veg items tasted great . “Went there looking at the mixed reviews and not sohigh hopes and also it was the closest. The tandoori platter was amazing and the star to the show. The meat was perfectly done. Very juicy and tender and comes on a sizzling platter. There was fish, lamb chops and variety of chicken tikka. Absolutely loved it. The guava mocktail was great as well. Very well garnished and presented.But the main course we ordered, chicken curry, egg curry and paneer makhaniLoved how paneer makhani tastes. But the chicken and egg curry was overly spiced and too many random masala in it. No set taste.I’d order something else from the menu next time. With that out of the way, let me share my experience with Chatpati Delhi.I was visiting my cousins in NJ for the first time and as most Indians wanted to relish some good Indian food as the first thing in the city. My cousin suggested Chatpati Delhi and who can resist chaat, so we went there.We ordered pretty much all the usual suspects - pav bhaji, Vada pav, paneer tikka, Pani puri, khasta kachori. Now I count myself as a through and through foodie so I don't get satisfied easily. And the expectations were all the more high because we don't get good chaat in Austin, TX (where I live).To my utter surprise Chatpati Delhi not only not disappoint, they actually exceeded my expectations and that of my family. My wife and I couldn't stop expressing our gratitude for the delicious, and flavorful food we were getting to enjoy. The paneer tikka was especially soft, and masaledaar. The pav bhaji was way better than some of the best pav bhaji I had in India.Even better than the food was the exceptional service. Abhijeet from the restaurant was super warm and welcoming; made us feel very special and like family.I am stepping out to pick up some more of the amazing chaat from Chatpati Delhi before we head to the airport. “The ambience of this place is superior to most Indian restaurants in the area, however, finding a reservation in the dining side can be a bit challenging, if not in advance. The Indian food is nontraditional with a twist to staple Indian cuisines. There’s a platter of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Some unique options include their stuffed mirchi Bhajji and their jackfruit biryani.Vegetarian options: There are plenty of vegetarian options and main entry to choose from. The location is probably better for its ambience on the food however, the menu will not disappoint.“

“Had an unforgettable experience at this place. Tried appam, idiyappam, porotta, kochi special chicken curry, chemmeen ularthiyathu, mango lassi, butter milk. Everything was so good and took me back to kerala. I was so content after the meals and thanks to everyone there for being so welcoming and homely. Special thanks to Chef Mathew who gave pazham pori and payasam as complimentary dessert. It was heavenly. Sadly I don't have even one photo but cannot recommend this place enough specially for mallus.“
“We had a party in our backyard which included around 80 guests. Rottu kadai has a very good variety of dosas and each one of them tastes amazing. All our guests throughly enjoyed the experience of live dosa and the food. Kids especially had a lot of fun watching the making of and pizza and ice cream dosas and eating them. They went above and beyond in getting dosas ready very quickly. On top of dosas, their chutney, Sambar, idly and variety rices were delicious.We had a wonderful experience with Arun and his team!! It was a HUGE HIT!!! I highly recommend him for your next party!!“
