“We decided to try something new for dinner, we didn't have a reservation which is recommended on a Friday but they were nice enough to accommodate us. The restaurant was lively, friendly and the service was great they were attentive. I've never had Lebanese food but the server explained the tasting menu. Everything was fresh and good, if you like Mediterranean food I'm certain this place is for you. It was a good gastronomic experience. If you are in Collingwood it's a must try.“

Both Irish dishes ordered Shepherd"s Pie n Irish Beef Stew were excellent vouched for by my friend and me. The grilled Veggie wrap and Cuban sandwich received high marks too. The service was excellent!!! Friendly and professional!!! The Soul Cruisers were wonderful!!! Great voices and a polished band of 6 or 7 members. The chicken parm is tasty. I love the seeded rolls, takes it up a level. This is a 15 min drive from my house and will make the trip for the delicious cheesesteak . “The new Deli Fresh Deli in the Penndel Shopping Center is the creation of local hero Johnny G, who has operated many kitchen eateries in the vicinity. He took over and remade a former Subway, bringing full delicatessen sensibility and local color to a commercial zone that really needed a bright coat of paint. Johnny was on hand to take my order yesterday and introduced himself. I got the short story version of his colorful restaurant history, and I realized that I had eaten in his former place on Brownsville Road a few times and enjoyed it tremendously. My expectations rose accordingly. The large front window sign proclaimed the roast beef, turkey and pork were all roasted on site. Good enough suggestion to order a large Roast Beef Hoagie (w provolone, lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, hot pepper hash and sweets) on a handsome sesame seeded long torpedo roll. Wrapped tight in white, and our conversation concluded (after sampling the tortellini salad), I drove home to open it up on the kitchen table. First glance at the stuffed sub and my salivaries exploded. It was visually compelling. First bite confirmed that it all worked together perfectly to tantalize my tastebuds. It was a tremendous chomp and chew. Excellent crustiness, followed by folded layers of pink roast beef, provolone and all the rest. This was a mouth party to beat the band. Texture and flavor combined to have me close my eyes and savor the moment. I managed to eat about a third of it, and rolled up the remainder for later enjoyment and family sharing. Deli Fresh is the real deal for Italian style deli delights. They even have a pickle barrel for those who love cukes soured in brine. Its time is now.“

I have worked many Valentine's days in the kitchen and know how crazy it is... the server, Frankie, was awesome and VERY attentive (she even made a little gift bag for the girls which is a nice touch). “Frey's Deli & Pizza sits in a small strip center on northbound Lincoln Highway (Rt.1) in Penndel, PA. It is an unassuming place with a few tables, a big front window, and prep area in the back for pizza and takeout. There isn't much in the way of provisions in the refrigerated display case, but what they do have is either made inhouse or Dietz & Watson. I asked about their tuna salad, and was advised it was prepared fresh that morning and a popular seller. Good enough for me, I went with a whole hoagie with lettuce, plus sweet/hot peppers. Opened it back at the office. It was heavy in the wrap paper, and substantial upon opening. Not only was the tuna as good as advertised, but the roll had a nice crust and texture that was a pleasure to bite through. Quality sandwich all the way. Tasty, and not the least bit fishy. Just enough mayo to hold everything together and blend perfectly with all the ingredients. One of the better deli sammies of recent memory. Prices were good, too. Only downside - there wasn't much to chose from in the drink department. Definitely would benefit from more selection for washdown. But, other than that, Frey's was a very pleasant surprise nosh.“

I placed an order via the drive-through last night, and when it was time to pay my bank blocked my card because of suspicious transaction early in the morning. It was the biggest embarrassment and It was too late to call them, so I was thinking how I’m going to left the drive-through without getting my order, which I was so embarrassed.
