Excellent bakery and deli with great sandwiches, especially the eggplant cutlets, fresh mozzarella, and the fried artichoke hearts. Worth a stop just for bread, but you'll want a sandwich to go.

The bread in the deli did not look fresh all the different foods behind the counter again just didn't look fresh I wanted to get the tuna fish but I got a whiff and I'm like this is a couple days old I have been there before when they're meatballs have made me very sick service is extremely unhelpful except there's an older gentleman that comes right up to you and asks if there's anything you need or that he could get for you I think that's fantastic but the other servers in the deli seems like they really don't want to be there the atmosphere that's the only positive thing here

Fantastic Italian sandwiches. Fresh ingredients, pleasant staff, and big portions. Can't ask for too much more from a deli. I haven't tried any of their bakery items and have always gotten my food to-go but they do have a wide selection of foods from every category, and have ample seating available for those wishing to dine in. Parking is a little weird as the shop is at the top of a hill, and the area tends to be swarmed with police cars. But the lot is big enough you won't have any trouble getting a spot. If you're looking for a sandwich recommendation, listen to what all the reviews are saying and try to the eggplant - you won't be disappointed. It isn't even just the eggplant, all the ingredients come together well. The mozzarella is extremely fresh too. They also have several other spreads and toppings you can substitute or add on if you wish if you prefer to customize your sandwich. Price might seem a little high for a sandwich, but the portion size makes up for it, and to be honest it's pretty in line with competitors.

The Bread is awesome! They do have a full deli counter that was mobbed with customers, meaning it must be good. I will try a deli sandwich on my next trip.

This is a great restaurant. The quality of the food far exceeds a lot of Italian restaurants in the area but I wanted to single out the customer service. I ordered a sandwich to the Succasunna location and it accidentally went to Denville. They very graciously sent the order to the Succasunna location (which is also fantastic)- no questions asked. Wonderful people who value their customers. Thanks so much, guys!

Succasunna location: Service horrible. Ordered a deli sandwich and it wasn't made correctly and had literally a pinch of lettuce and was completely flavorless. When ordering I wanted to add a few things to my sandwich and it was like I asked them to build a watch. IMO if this isn't something you want to do then don't, stick to breads and pastries.
I only go to the Italian market there. Their pre-made food is fantastic! I know they make everything in the freezers, right there on the premises. Their rice balls are amazing!!

Better than expected! Raves about the prosciutto and mozzarella sandwich and the Turkey on ciabatta! Good selection of Italian pasta. Best Coffee Cake, sweet and moist. The selection of Tuscan vases and bowls are beautiful!

If you want fresh Italian breads and specialty items, this is the store for you. You can see the bread factory behind the counter as you choose from a large array of rolls, unique breads, and classics. Their pastry counter shouldn't be overlooked either. They also stock a nice array of Italian specialties like pasta, canned/ jarred goods, meats, and cheeses.Some fresh bread and items from the deli counter make sure a delicious and easy picnic!
