I stopped in here for coffee and just had to try a beignet. They smelled amazing, and the one I got was hot, soft, and not overly sweet, despite the glaze. Good stuff! The shop itself has a good amount of seating, and the employee was nice. I'd try more beignets if I wasn't trying to lose weight, LOL.

I have been DYING to try this place out for years because honestly, who doesn't love fried dough in sugar, am I right or am I right? It's on the main drag so parking is insane. The chalkboard menu had so many options but I came for one thing only, the namesake, their beignets. Every beignet & donut is made fresh when ordered so you get your treat piping hot and delicious. Three beignets for $5 is irresistibly reasonable so score! Unfortunately, it DID NOT meet my expectations. Every time I see beignet on ANY menu, I get it to compare. These were not good. Admittedly, I got excited when I looked in the bag & saw that they were decent sized beignets AND the amount of powdered sugar she put in there was great but the donut just was not what I expected. It was greasy so the powdered sugar REALLY caked on. It was light and airy BUT it wasn't pillowy. It was flaky. It didn't have the bounce back of a yeasty donut. I wasn't a fan. The place, probably once nicely decorated, is now just cluttered. The people around bought a lot of stuff... the little girl behind me just LOVED her Nutella donut so maybe I just got the wrong thing.

In my opinion, this place is not worth the hype. We ordered 6 donuts to go (cannoli, smores, maple bacon, & elvis). The donuts themselves weren't exactly bad, but I've had better homemade donuts at a less expensive cost. I could also taste the frying oil which only made them less enjoyable. Not to mention the fact that we waited about 20 minutes with only 2 other people ahead of us. I would maybe go back to try their beignets and see if I have a different experience, but I definitely wouldn't waste the money on their donuts again.

Their beignets are life-changing. All the specialty donuts I've tried are fantastic. Fresh-made with real ingredients and an incredibly friendly atmosphere and staff make this one not to miss!
The beignets are better than the donuts. Donuts are good, better to eat them right away when they are hot.

My honey and I were passing through on a road trip from Cali and stopped here looking for coffee. We not only found great coffee (he had an affogato and I had a toffee latte), but the hot, fresh donuts and beignets are indescribably delicious! The beignets were perfectly done with a slightly crisp exterior and tender, buttery, pillowy interior. The donut was a freshly fried cake donut and as such I thought it would be heavy and doughy. Not so! It was also light and airy with a crisp exterior. Flawless!!

Have to echo Crystal's review from a year ago. The donuts are delicious, but we were struck by how unengaging they were behind the counter. I wouldn't say 1 star by any means, but when you're picking up a sweet treat, you don't want to be distracted by how dismissive the staff are.It's a customer facing role... please don't do that job if you don't like speaking to people.Every other bakery or dessert place is happy to have the business. That's the standard, at least be SEMI engaging.

Not only great for the beignets and large array of donut flavors, don’t overlook this spot for coffee drinks. They have hard to find syrup flavors for coffee and lattes (pistachio, bananas foster, rose, lavender, etc.)

We drove 40 minutes to try out these donuts, and they did not disappoint. We bought a lot of different ones to try and they lasted very well in a sealed plastic container. If you had to twist my arm, I'd say the lemon and the peanut butter and jelly were my favorites. The next time we go, I have to try one of the specialty coffees. Everyone was so welcoming.
