It's cool that DD (no, not the donut place, this place) has been around for many years and remains independent and hires local kids. All of these facts are worthy of praise. However, the ice cream is just average. I mean, if you are comparing it the grocery store weekly sale ice cream, sure, it's amazing. But for local ice cream parlor, real-deal ice cream, I think Scoops in Boonton is much better.
The ice cream here is amazing! I tried it for the first time as we were driving through the area and found it to be top quality. I had the pumpkin and butter pecan flavours which were both delicious and perfect. The only slightly disappointing thing is they said they couldn’t put two flavours in the small cup which was already huge, and it had to be in a medium which to me is a large. They also said they couldn’t put the two flavours side by side (like is standard in Europe)...read full review

Ice cream was pretty good... 2 waffle cones with soft ice cream... tasty... overall price was just under $16. That was sort of a shock to be honest. But service was great and my kids were happy. Thank you.
