Ordered egg drop soup, broccoli, and moo shu vegetables. Moo Shu did not have egg. All veggies were burnt in rancid oil. A greasy, sugary, salty mess on all dishes. Tossed all of it in the garbage after tasting. A stark contrast from the first time I went. No one cooking was Asian - Maybe they need training in how to cook Asian food but will never know because will never go back. Just disgusting

First time trying this place and got a very basic chicken & broccoli meal w/ pork fried rice and an egg roll. From the first bite I knew something was off, the chicken had an extremely odd taste to it. Not a flavor problem the chicken actually tasted like it was spoiled. I tried again to make sure and it was awful and most certainly bad chicken. I had to throw the entire meal out. The restaurant was dirty when I picked up my food so not surprised.

Food arrived barely warm and the General Tsao Tofu was clumped and without vegetables. We asked for extra crispy and extra spicy..neither was delivered. The soups were barely warm. We asked for the Pan fried wonton in garlic sauce to be prepared extra spicy…it was not spicy and was barely warm when it arrived. We have ordered from here in the past and were completely satisfied. This is the third time in a row that everything was sub par. Last time for us.

Solid Chinese food. Service is great the woman is very nice. Food was good, but went 2 times and it hasn't been consistent. Either way. Really liked it. Chicken lo mein the best I've ever had...I order through grub hub and she still honors the deal and gives me my free cans of soda.

Takeout only place so no atmosphere. We ordered on Christmas day. Food was ready when they said it would be and it was amazing. I got the hot and spicy pork. It was delicious. Everyone agreed that their food was outstanding.

Just started coming here for Chinese food. The staff here is very nice and professional. The food has been great every time we’ve ordered. There are no left overs after this lunch! Will definitely be coming back. Good value for great quality food!

We ordered fried chicken wings with fries, and I really regret doing that. Wings were not seasoned, they were dry and the chicken was fried with feathers and all. No flavor and why is the skin underneath bright yellow?? The fries were hard and again NO flavor. This was an abysmal dinner for first responders. And, they still have a table in front of the store to keep patrons from entering!! Do they realize how many people still won't order Chinese food because of covid and they are keeping out the very people who tried to support them?!!! NEVER AGAIN!

There is something different about this place - and that is precisely what I was looking for. First thing I noticed was that the food here tastes more "home style" - and isn't nearly as salty as typical Chinese take out in the area. This makes the dishes more flavorful for me. They also have a variety of different dishes on the menu and which I haven't seen at other places.The cooking style here is unique and decidedly sincere. My wife's vegetable lo mein was garlicky and flavorful, which she liked. My subgum wonton dish was delicious and plentiful. I feel like the cooking style here is less greasy and oily too. In an area where Chinese take out is largely homogenous, Oriental Express really stands out as being distinctive!If you are lookng for a Chinese take out that does things their own way and is refreshingly different, this place may be for you. I ordered two times before posting this review, and each time the food was consistent and high quality. I'll definitely be back to try their other dishes.
