Pretty decent, friendly people. Food was a bit unusual but it was good. Kind of bar food, but of a higher quality. I had the shrimp tacos, can't remember what my wife had. Good place to go for a simple meal and a beer.

This place has the best German food! My husband had the Schnitzel Platter, my friend had the Kielbasa Cheesesteak (on locally special made pretzel rolls), and I had the Kielbasa Platter, and all were mouth-wateringly amazing. The apple sauerkraut, cucumber vinegar salad, peppercorn sauce, all deliciousness! The Big Daddy Mozz is a huge breaded fried mozzarella block and is the best I've ever had. Their pretzel is perfectly fluffy and they come with cheese and they bring out mustards and sauces. Come for the food, stay for the drinks...they have a very nice drink menu. I tried the Caramel Apple Martini and it was sublime! Service was warm and welcoming. They make you feel like family. Clean place with a lot going on--they have poker on Sat/Mon and events throughout the year. During the spring/summer they have outdoor seating and yard games. Which is a plus! I heard "dive bar" in a previous comment, but that wouldn't be my take even though you do walk "down" into the bar area this place is family friendly, so I would say more of like schnitzel häus that happens to have a bar

Food was interesting and well prepared. Place was clean and maintained. Daily specials with different venues every night. Friendly service. So glad we finally stopped by for a bite! Been driving by for years! Thanks for the curds- we’re sure to visit again!

Showed up with a party of eight (4 adults and 4 kids) the staff could not have been nicer! And the food was amazing!! This is definitely a place we will be going back too. Super friendly and welcoming.Kid-friendliness: The staff was talking to our kids and brought them out donuts for dessert!

10 of us went for dinner 2 weeks ago. It was our first time there but we will definitely be back. The food was good and the drafts were cold. The owner greeted us and took our order and the staff was outstanding. They kept checking up on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Food was cooked to order and was served hot. It is also a plus that they are veteran owned.

Great food (by which I mean the biggest chicken sandwich you've ever seen—by a lot) at a great price. The owner and staff were very personable and accommodating.
Come here for food you won't find anywhere else. One look at the specials and you will realize how creative the owner/chef really is. I won't spoil it-you have to come and see. For this trip we stuck to the menu. You can't imagine the size of the RCT Chicken Sandwich. It's three times the size of a really big bun. It comes with all the fixin's, chips and Bangin' Spicy Sauce. The Shrimp Tacos are fantastic with spicy sauce and home made slaw. This is the first time ever I was not disappointed in the German Potato Salad. Many places claim to make "authentic" German Potato Salad and I'm usually foolish enough to try it only to be let down. This tasted just like the family recipe from Grandma Von Hecke. The atmosphere is friendly and neighborly and perhaps not everybody knows your name when you walk in but they will by the time you leave. A group of us went for lunch. I'm ready to go back for dinner.

Great little dive bar, I must have driven by a hundred times without noticing. Wednesday is wing night, $1 wings! The adopt Cellar Tavern is larger than it appears from the outside having a long bar with stools, and three Hugh top tables with stools but also a downstairs with tables. The bar tender was efficient, but did get a little overwhelmed as the night went on, I deducted one star as another foh staff was needed. The place offers a ton of appetizers, sandwiches and pizza with some fun dessert such as fried dough and Oreos. Go give them a try!!!
