We decided to give a second chance to Monchys, and tonight we were there for dinner... again, the service was horrible. We waited so long to be served, for our food, the waitress never asked if we wanted another drink or about the food... actually, I had to go inside twice and ask for our server.when we get the check, we realize why he doesn't care because they add to our check (of two people) 18% of gratitude. We paid cash, so we avoided the extra charge for paying with card, and because they don't have coins, he just gave me a 5 dollar bill, instead of $5,18. I'm really disappointed and mad about this place.

I loveee this place! We’ve been coming here for years and it just keeps improving and getting better than ever. Food is delicious as always, service is 10/10, and the atmosphere is amazing. We stopped by again today, and our waitress Jennifer was exceptional and the food was delicious!

well as a Colombian it is a dishonor to know that these people have neither class or criteria to run a business. i ordered a meal to pick up and they gave me the the wrong order . They called me when they realize the mistake . I went personally and the manager . She told me that service is a big issue there having too many problems on the past . Hugo ladino the other manager agreed. I asked to speak with the owner cesar Ladino but I was never able to communicate with him.. They were supposed to return the money for the mistake . Until today no call to apologize and they have not even return the money to my account . I think the owners should go back to his old profession Playing to be a DJ and leave this business in the hands of people who really know what to do....otherwise said by the manager . The service is really bad and that's why they been having lots of problems.. but away I think service and prices are better in pollos pucalor ALSO I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE .. I ordered online, a classic burger, with the special instructions of no bacon because of a previous allergic reaction to it. They said that they were going to remake my order because it did contain bacon, I waited 15-20 min more. When I opened my burger it still had bacon in it. ?terrible, they didn’t really listen or cared about it.

The food was too salty and I received almost 0 service. Meanwhile they automatically add in 18% tips for themselves in the bill. I guess there's no reason to take care of your table if you're guaranteed an 18% tip. Please check your bill, the credit card receipt asks for more tips. If you don't notice the self tipping you might end up tipping twice. I will not be returning.Side note: I'm not an unreasonable person. If they were busy, that's a reason why service might be lacking but when you're not busy and the service still sucks, that's on the wait staff. After the no service and seeing tipping baked into the bill, I feel absolutely disgusted. At least put up signs saying it's included somewhere

First time here after several years. Went in with a friend to check the menu while we waited for some other family members. It was about 4 in the afternoon, only a few people in the place. We sat at the bar and ordered beer, a Michelob Ultra and a Heineken. My beer was cool, not cold as it should, had to drink it fast. Did not enjoy. Beers should always be kept cold, at the correct temperature. We ordered appetizers. The taste was ok, but also the temperature was slightly warm, not hot , as expected. The menu was not what I expected since the last time. Less variety and not what I was looking for in a Columbian restaurant.

Do not go to this place. I was extremely excited to come here because I had a good experience in the Elizabeth location but this place was the complete opposite. We were immediately seated and and were taken our order after 10-15. We ordered our food, and after an hour we’re told that they did not have anymore. After another 40 mins out food arrived. The rice was hard, the beans were burned, the sausage was just pure oil. We also ordered chicharrones that had absolutely no meat just fat as you can see in the image attached. Even our drinks were wrong, we ordered a brand of beer and received the complete opposite. This was a horrible Mother’s Day experience do not do this to yourself take yourself and your family somewhere else. As a bonus the bathroom has an awful smell that various attendants attempted to fix but we were unable to. This place has so much potential but the cooking needs to improve.

Horrible horrible horrible. First of all we sat down took them about 15-20 to even acknowledge us to even order our drinks. Second we ordered an order of empanadas as an appetizer after an hour wait they told us that they did not have our appetizer. After an hour and half wait for our food our rice was undercooked, our beans had a burnt taste to it, fries were cold, meat was cold, morcilla was horrible, chicharrón was pure fat. Very disappointed. Also the bathroom smell was horrendous impossible to use.

As a Colombian I do not recommend this place. The food is bland and flavorless and is extremely expensive! I think this is an insult to Colombian cuisine! Service takes long, and ambiance is way too much!
