It's such a nostalgic place for me personally and I know it means a lot to the local community as well - truly a staple of downtown Garwood. The ambiance is very modern and trendy with lots of seating options to enjoy your food in-store. There's also lots of outdoor seating, though not the most relaxing option because it's along a busy road/intersection. When I'm not with friends, I usually take my food to go, which is always a quick and easy process. I can easily say that The Juice House makes the best bowls (acai, pitaya, coconut, banana - you name it)! What really sets JH apart is their organic GRAWNOLA - it's so tasty and soft. The bowls have the perfect proportions of base, GRAWNOLA, and toppings, so every bite is flavorful. My go-to order is the Chocoberry Acai Bowl with honey, which truly hits the spot every time. Some other favorites are the CocoNutter Coconut Bowl and the JH Acai Bowl, but you truly cannot go wrong with whatever you order! The Juice House employees are always friendly and helpful, and the owner, Arielle, is extremely front-facing and responsive - so awesome! “We were staying nearby at the Heldrich Hotel and were looking for a place to have breakfast where there might be some gluten free options. SOL-KALANIT’S was the perfect solution. My wife had tacos (corn, not flour) both mornings we ate there and said they were the best tacos she had eaten since she moved back east from Arizona. I had an omelet both mornings and both were excellent. The dine-in area is small and it can get a bit noisy. But everyone who works there is warm, friendly, and lot’s of fun. The food is a mix of Mexican, Native American, and Mediterranean. If this place were closer to home, we would be regular customers. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.“

“My wife and I have come to fresh tiki bar several times now. I have had their soft serve vanilla which is out of this world. As well as their Italian cookie which if you like Italian rainbow cookies you owe it to yourself to try at least once. The place is fairly small inside but it does have outdoor seating. The menu is a good size for an ice cream place, they don't have 5 million flavors but when the number gets that high they often get real weird. The fun flavors they do have seam limited and on a rotation, but I think this allows them to provide a higher quality product from what I've had. I'm fairly certain this is a husband and wife team and I have only dealt with the wife, but she is always very friendly and has a general chipper demeanor.This is a great place for a small date night treat or to take the kids and get a little ice cream.“

And the owner Mo introduced himself and was clearly passionate about his business. I was waiting on by Ella and she spent the time talking to my son about his sports.
