So let me start by saying this is a very small place with a limited amount of seating but they have some of the best bbq I've ever had. When we walked in we were greeted by a man who told us to sit wherever we wanted and tell him when we were ready to order. I ordered the rib combo with the chopped brisket and both were fantastic. It came with a half rack of ribs and a nice portion of chopped brisket, 2 sides, and a cornbread. For the sides I chose collard greens and French fries which again were both great. I highly recommend this place as the bbq was next level and better than most of the places I've tried in the south.

If you don’t here at least once it ur life idk what’s wrong with you. I had the ribs, brisket, cornbread, Mac and cheese, and sweet potato fries. DELECTABLE. DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE. I never write reviews but this one was for the book. Great Job to this restaurant.

Food is just OK. My biggest complaint with this place is that they close their kitchen very early and tell you that they are out of food. It's very clear that they're lying because they just clean the kitchen and don't want to get anything dirty, but they do this way too early before closing. I'm sure if the CEO knew about this, he or she would be really pissed.

I was in town for business and came across this place on Yelp. $17 for a pulled pork sandwich, sweet potato fries, and corn bread. not a bad deal! I ordered take out Everyone was very nice, the food came out quickly and fresh. Drinks come with the meal which was unexpected but very nice. I was even given free extra sauce! The pulled pork was tender and flavorful. Just the right amount of sauce. The bottom bun was a tiny bit soggy, I assume from the pickles. Sweet potato fries had good flavor and I really liked the recommended "tan sauce". Would come back again!

Me, and my partner broke down and our tow truck driver told us we had to try this place out, it's the best in town he said! And boy, he wasn't lying, the food was delicious meat on the ribs slid right off the bone, cornbread was nice and juicy everything was on point! The guy taking our order was very informative and friendly as were the rest of the staff. Everyone seemed to be very happy that we were there and we're thankful that we came. Inside the restaurant is nice and cozy. I love the decor, love the fact that I don't have to ask for a to go box because it's out there for you to grab when you need it right next to the self-serve drink fountain, being from California, and the only reason why I was there was cause I was broke down. I can only hope that I break down again when I'm in the area.

Dinner for three anxious to have some good barbecue. Place is tucked into a strip mall on a side street off Rte 18 and across from the Super Walmart. Easy to miss, even w a GPS. About 10 tables, really not set up for dining in, but the staff were helpful and the drinks from the soda machine and iced tea tanks were free. We had a couple of appetizers - nachos w pulled pork, good, lots of cheese, crispy nachos, and burnt rib ends, good but too much honey bbq glaze. Three entrees. All were good, meat was fresh and plentiful. Sides were good. Left w plenty of leftovers. Next time no apps, concentrate on pulled pork and maybe the ribs. Server gave us extra sauces.

I've had this place 3 times over the span of 5 or so years and every time has been a true let down. The first time was to try it out because it was new, the 2nd was because I was really craving BBQ so I hoped that they got it right after I was let down the 1st time and the final time, was tonight but only because coworkers wanted to try it. The meats are basic with very little seasoning (which they try to hide with BBQ sauce) And although there are some visible smoke rings on the brisket/ribs the texture is as if the meats were made in an oven. It doesn't give the feel of meat smoked on an official smoker. The sides are really awful. It's literally watery Kraft Mac&cheese, canned or boiled collard greens and awful baked beans with not so much as a dash of salt. My experience has been the same misery passed off as food EVERY TIME! Central Jersey needs a REAL BBQ smoke house but this ain't it guys. I assure you that you can make better food at home. Things are expensive enough as is, please don't waste your money here.

Driving down route 18 looking for a spot to grab a quick lunch that is not fast food. Came across this gem of a place. Got two of their lunch specials to go to share back home. The people inside were very friendly and service was quick. The menu inside looks newer than what was on yelp so took a few minutes to decide what I wanted. The lunch specials are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. One entree, a drink, and one side ($11-$15) The brisket sandwich was so scrumptious with the end pieces having so much of the Smokey flavor and seasonings. The fries were fresh cut and the pickles were homemade! Both the pickles and tomato cucumber salad helped cut the heaviness of the wings and sandwich. Chicken Wing Review: I was a fan of the mix of buffalo and bbq sauce wings. The two flavors melded so well together and they were coated with sauce so well. The wings were jumbo with good meat to them and not fatty at all!
