“Awesome as always. This place is a hidden gem if you want NY City food without having to drive to the City. We sat near the fireplace and it was warm and very intimate. Food was delicious and beautifully presented and staff were super engaging taking care of our needs while keeping the robust dining crowd happy and entertained.“
“My wife and I stopped in and picked up some desserts. They had a lot of variety, and everything seemed so fresh. Everyone was very helpful. The croissants were great and crispy. The carrot cake was also one of the better ones I've had. Overall, it's a great place for dessert, and I highly recommend it.“
“Everything about this place is awesome. I had the Western omelet and it was fantastic....made with Taylor ham vs. regular ham. It's a small, quaint place with groovy stuff on the walls. My husband and mother in law have been there many times but finally, it was my turn! I highly recommend!“
“I love that the kids have a safe place to go but it does get quite noisy when you're trying to write and things. And sometimes the music gets really loud. Other wise the sweets are really good and it's a cool space but not for those seeking other adult only “
“Loved my experience here at this girly pink cafe. The shop keeps the music at a reasonably low level (at least while I was there during the week) so work can be done. Drinks are great and food menu is extensive. This place definitely needs to be a staple in everyone’s WFH cafes. ?“
“Got the UBE PANNA COTTA. Was surprised that it was so good. A lot of Ube flavor. So sweet and tasty. Wife says, “Very good!” Also my son had the CHOCOLATE BUNDT CAKE, son gave it 10⭐️s! “That was SO good!” Wife says it was the best as well. Daughter had the CHOCOLATE MOUSSE and she loved it. The CHICKEN SPINACH HAND PIE was excellent, as per my wife. “Can we go back for more?”, says my daughter.“
“Everything about this café makes me always come back. I have been here a few times and I am never disappointed. I was there just today to have their delicious baklava pistachio cheesecake and it's always so worth the calories. Their food is also delicious!!. The owners are very kind..“
“WOW - found this hidden gem as I was craving soup on a snowy day only to realize this place is less than 5 min from me. My favorite soup is Italian wedding and happened to be the day it was being served! I ordered delivery of the soup and Cuban panini and instantly fell in love. I’m excited to see and try all the other soups because this is one of the (if not the best) Cuban panini (with pickles!) and Italian soup I’ve ever had. I look forward to going in person next time!“
“Forgot to add context to the rating.Halo is what Springfield has neededso bad for so long, and every year since they have some it is just a reminder of how great they are. Family friendly, fast, quality coffee, food and ingredients make for a mainstay for us. That's all before you know about all of their community engagement making them truly apart of Springfield.“
“I stopped in this coffee shop as I was traveling through for work and was so glad it came up in my last minute google search. The barista was very friendly and quick with preparing my drink and the ambiance of this place is superb! I wish I had a place like this closer to home because it would be a nice place to relax or get work done. The coffee was delicious too! Highly recommend.“
“Defying Gravitea is a cute spot for breakfast, coffee/tea, or some little sweets. My mom and I stopped in early one morning and the owner Gina was super friendly and welcoming. The menu is entirely gluten/dairy free and as someone who is not gluten or dairy free, I believe the food was just as tasty, if not better! I had a pot of Rise + Glow tea and French toast. Will definitely be back!“
“Great breakfast sandwich, service was a little bit slow however they were busy so completely understand.Cutting off one star since half a star is not an option - IMO, the tip suggestion on the check should be based on the price of the total food, they added tip on the TAX as well. Tipping culture has gone out of control in this country and now these businesses want us to tip on the tax as well?“
“I met a friend for dinner in Boonton and he asked if I've ever been to Boonton Coffee Co. When I said "no" he said "you gotta try this coffee". We walked over and I ordered an iced vanilla latte, just like I've done at Starbucks for well over a decade. Long story short, this place has ruined Starbucks for me. The quality and flavor of their coffee is unmatched. With all due respect to Folgers Freeze Dried coffee, that's what Starbucks now tastes like in comparison. If the owners are reading this...please let me know if you're considering another location. I'd definitely invest.“
“Not bad, not the best. They were friendly enough but the bagels are a bit tough for my personal taste, I prefer soft bagels. They are a bit bready to me. Veggy cream cheese is good though. I'm not mad I ate it but likely won't return based on my taste.“
“Cannot recommend this place enough! I have been a vegan for over 8 years and live for baked goods. When I went I ordered the sausage egg and cheese biscuit, the flavors were great it was hot and the cheese was perfectly melty with a to die for biscuit. As my sweet I ordered the cannoli and on the first bite I wanted to cry. The shell was perfectly flaky and crisp, with a creamy, fluffy, and a bit tangy (in the best way possible) filling. The workers despite it being very busy inside were so kind and sweet! My only complaint is to my self and that I don't live closer!! The next time I'm in the area I will definitely be stopping in.“
“An excellent place for a good Sunday brunch. I ordered the Oven Baked Omelette and ricotta pancakes, a delight. Everything fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the waitresses are very friendly and do their job well. Thank you!!✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️“
“Went with my wife this morning for breakfast and it was outstanding. The egg, sweet plantain, avocado burrito hit the spot. Would have loved to try the special of the day ( milanesa napolitana) but I was really in the mood for breakfast. Definitely next time!!!“
“Small place, absolutely awesome breakfast options - not too many seats but also not too crowded - great spot!Vegetarian options: Plenty of options for vegetarians but some dishes are specials for the day and if they have meat, that can’t be undone is all. great menu for all tastes :)“
“I ordered a cake with one of the wonderful owners, Angie for my party. The cake was gorgeous and delicious when the other owner Alexa brought it out when I picked it up. All my guests loved the cake without knowing it was gluten free and celiac safe. I also sampled some of the pastries and lattes and will be a new stop for me. So happy to have found this treasure!“
“I needed a birthday cake or a kosher cake and they accommodate me the same day with a delicious round chocolate babka, and they deliver it to me all the way to roselle excellent service I highly recommend ?Dietary restrictions: My friend does not eat pork of any kind we need kosher for him. He's from Ghana“
“I've been waiting a long time for a local coffee shop in my town. Service is fast and friendly. They make iced coffee with coffee ice cubes! I thought that was one of the greatest things I had ever seen. I haven't had their breakfast yet but their Chocolate Croissant is fire!“
“I, my wife, and my friends love coming here. The coffee is great - I’m a big fan especially of the “Vanilla Snuggle”, and also of the iced coffee. The service is always friendly. It’s a popular place on the weekends, but I especially love coming in on a weekday to do work on my laptop. The atmosphere is relaxing. Local art is displayed on the walls. There are community events. There are delicious gluten-free options for food. I’m very happy to have this coffee shop in my area.“
“Hands down the best egg sandwich in NJ. The homemade roll is amazing, eggs are fresh and they pile on the bacon. Servers are consistently friendly and attentive. All the food at Carvers is great (LOVE the homemade bread) but for whatever reason I never ordered the egg sandwich. Can't believe I've been missing it all these years.“
“This is me and my husband’s favorite Saturday brunch spot. We get the gluten free empanadas, sweet corn pies, and mango juice and it’s insane how good it is ? The employee there are also the kindest people. 10/10 recommendation this becoming you’re new fav “
“I stopped in here for coffee and just had to try a beignet. They smelled amazing, and the one I got was hot, soft, and not overly sweet, despite the glaze. Good stuff! The shop itself has a good amount of seating, and the employee was nice. I'd try more beignets if I wasn't trying to lose weight, LOL.“
“this is a unknown hero in Wayne for all kinds of food..!!! I only buy my coldcuts there now and the sandwiches they make are outstanding.. the quality of all their food is fabulous and Andy the owner is so accommadating for catering anything... Go and support this Wayne owned business you will not be disapointed in anything!!!!“
“Small menu done well! The brunch is to die for but fair warning, the location is small so plan ahead if you are trying to dine-in. We shared a waffle that will haunt my dreams until I get another and my lentil burger with mint chutney was fantastic. The Barista game there was also on point. Dirty chai or the Honey cardamom latte are strong picks.“
“I have been coming to this bagel shop since I moved to Lake Hiawatha (30 some years). Their bagels and their food are delicious. Jane is a sweetheart and has a ready smile every morning. I know prices have gone up everywhere, but their sandwiches are getting way too expensive. They are comparable to prices in a diner. Other than that, I still love this place. I can afford less, but once in a while I can splurge.“
“Twisted Tulip is a cute and cozy cafe with a very relaxing vibe. I ordered an iced latte with almond milk and the latte of the day 'Vanilla Rose Latte'. The Latte of the day was good but the rose/vanilla aspect was very not very pronounced. The other latter was also good. They offer a good variety of drinks, pastries, sandwiches, etc., The decor was unexpected (graffiti styles) with the name being twisted tulip, but it was a bright fun look. They have stools along a glass window, as will as tables/chairs and a cozy corner with a little couch, and a shelf of books (all very inviting) They also have outdoor seating but there seems to be a lot of construction happening around the building...hopefully it will be done by the time its warm enough to sit outside. The staff was friendly and the music was great; Overall a great experience. I'll definitely be back and recommend folks to stop by.Parking: Lots“
“Really cute place, I was impressed with both the food & coffee.Went there for lunch, but ordered a coffee and it was surprisingly delicious (even better than the coffee shop down the street). The bakery items also looked amazing --- looking forward to trying them at some point.“
“Came here for the first time for lunch. I’m in the complex. I think I drove by at 25 times before I even noticed. Just had the most incredible chicken platter. I can only eat half of it. I’ll have the other half tomorrow..Fresh chicken nice and hot, Excellent veggies. Everything was. Fresh Thank you!“
“Tasty food with lots of choices for the whole family. We did takeout for 5 items: --Wok Fried Noodles - bouncy and satisfying! --Bao Sampler Platter - Really good, especially with chili oil! This came with different fillings: Pork with Scallion, Chicken with Corn, and Beef with Onion and you can have them steamed or fried. I super recommend getting their add-on of Spicy Minced Pork Chili Oil which really elevates this dish. --Jasmine Boba Tea (customized for my request of zero ice, zero sugar) - pretty good, but the boba was kinda hard. --Crab and Pork Soup Dumplings - Pretty good. These are very likely much better eaten in the restaurant. In general, the filling was slightly too dense and the wrapper was a little too thick compared to the same dish I've had elsewhere. --Bao Chicken - A family fave. This came with 3 pieces of broccoli and was heavy on the chicken which had a light coating and yummy sauce. The portion lasted my kids several meals. With food this good, this spot can take a bao. ;)“
“Got the opportunity on this beautiful fall day to step inside and see what it's like. It is quite big inside. I love the ambiance of big open space to sit and get work done while sipping a cup of coffee. There was a couple of groups there and music was playing but still the noise level was bearable. Not loud at all. The cashier was friendly and knowledgeable in telling me what were the ingredients in the dishes I was considering. I settled on the turkey croissant with a house salad and a coffee. When the person brought me my food, I noticed that the coffee had been spilling in the carry tray. A bit surprising as it must have been filled to the brim. In any case, the coffee was good, hot but wished it could be hotter. The sandwich and salad was tasty yet could use a bit more of the house sauce to give it some oomff. I would visit here again.“
“YOU MUST GO HERE FOR DINNER!!!!!!! Not only is this the only place nearby serving East African food, it is so good that it is akin to food heaven! The staff are incredible! And for dessert you can get amazing homemade ice cream! So please please please do yourself a favor and try the Eritrean food! You will not be disappointed!“
“My daughters and I came across this place one morning and we were so glad we did ! I had the waffles with whipped cream, walnuts and strawberries. My daughters both had the French toast . Not only was our food delicious, the service was AMAZING. This is a family owned place and everyone there was extremely friendly. The food was deliciousThe staff was greatAnd the prices can’t be beat! I HIGHLY recommend it. We will certainly be return customers!“
“Wow!! Milly and Christian keep outdoing themselves!!! Most if not all thier pastries are homemade from scratch!! "Gay Paree".....step into another world as you experience great coffee made to suit even a Frenchman's or Mademoiselle's refined palates. The lattes are delicious and my favorite pastry, the coffee cake, pairs so well with the dark coffee bean and gentle milk sweetness.Parking: Easy to park.Kid-friendliness: Kids will enjoy this locale as long as their parents have cultivated in them a sense of art and coolness. Otherwise, take them to McDonald's.“
“Always make my way over to Traci’s Cafe if I’m in the area. Food is always on point no matter what you order. Really enjoy the Paninis and breakfast is great. Has everything from smoothies to breakfast to sandwich and salads. If you’re looking for great food Traci’s Cafe is the place to go. Traci makes you feel very welcomed also.“
“This place has very good sandwiches, I had El Jefe with focaccia bread, my friend had the same, with veggie bread and both were amazing, they have a selection of desserts as well, the chocolate and peanut butter cups topped with nuts were delicious.Vegetarian options: Great selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free optionsParking: The parking lot isn't huge, but has enough space for a few customers as the store isn't huge either.“
“Ordered from this place on Doordash to try it for the first time and it did not disappoint at all. Yeah it may be pricy though the quality and freshness of the food is exceptional especially the soup. The chicken noodle soup tasted phenomenally delicious plus the chicken aioli sandwich was satisfying especially for lunch. Definitely plan on ordering from here every now and then.“
“Heavenly Temptations leads with its heart on its sleeve to create a wonderfully authentic family experience. I spent a cozzy day drinking coffee and eating delicious home-baked treats while taking reading breaks chat with the barista. The barista was the owners son and from the moment you meet him you can tell he is truly grateful for the opportunity to run his family's business and welcome each customer.Don't waste your money on other coffee shops. Supporting Heavenly Temptations is supporting hard working youth and a family dedication to their local community. And, my grandmother can't get enough of their desserts!“
“Small place but saw the ratings and thought my wife (who is Brazilian) would give it a shot for breakfast. The food was made fresh and was it ever delicious ?. The crepe with Carmel, bananas and cinnamon was RIDICULOUSLY DELICIOUS.Parking: Parked across the street, easy to find and walk over.“
“Second time having breakfast here and it was just as good as the first! They have omelettes eggs, french toast pancakes. All the standard breakfast stuff. They're blueberry pancakes are some of the freshest I've ever had. Today I had one of their specials which were brownie pancakes they were little pieces of homemade brownie mixed in with the batter. Then they were very good. They don't have cold brew but they're regular. Ice coffee is some of the best I've ever tasted. The manager is sweet. She runs the cafe. Takes all the orders and interacts with the customers. I had breakfast with my father and sometimes he can be a pain. They didn't have expresso but she allowed him to come in with a cup of coffee from the outside which I was embarrassed by but it was very nice of her to allow .She's very friendly and outgoing. This will definitely be one of my new frequent places to visit.“
“They have just about everything. Except for weed. For that, you need to walk a few doors down. But everything else is here, and it's all good. We go here for dish soap, bread, Christmas gifts, coffee, and other things we don't know we need till we get there.“
“Great place. Excellent coffee, of course. Excellent patries, of course. And very strong food. We have gone there for breakfasts. In addition to regular breakfasts, they make a wide range of Mexican breakfasts which are all incredible. Quaint atmosphere. Worth it. Maplewood, NJ“
“Absolutely awesome little deli. I love the comic book decorations. They always have great music playing.House made smoked brisket is phenomenal. It makes it hard to try other sandwiches. I finally broke my trend and tried the Ranchero. It did not disappoint!Every sandwich is made with the utmost care and love. It's hard to explain, but it makes a difference.“
“Of all the quick service food places that I've been, Lyd's Cafe is one of my favorites. I had such a pleasant experience; from the moment I was greeted to the second I received my order. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich which was delicious. Also, the waffles w/ fresh fruit was BOMB! Thanks to the lovely chef:)“
“I recently went to Caffe Roma for the first time. It won't be the last time! First and foremost I loved the espresso! Secondly, it was great to sip espresso while watching a bunch of Italians play Scopa and chat in Italian. It just seemed like how an Italian cafe should be. The owner was great too!“
“Food options change They offer daily lunch specials and have the best homemade ice cream sandwiches. They offer takeout of one individual meal or full dinners for the family that will look and taste like you cooked it yourself. Not a lot of room to eat in just 1-2 tables if you are lucky enough to have one. You can always take it home to enjoy the great food, quiches, salads , and sandwiches. They also do big party catering.“
“The food is just so amazing. My family and I go here for breakfast even though it’s out of our way. The service and staff is the best. Get there early or risk waiting, because everyone who go there once knows that Sweet Basil is the best.“
“This is a standard Panera outlet, with, however, a large and pretty attractive seating area. The status of the stations, and offers relative comfort. Plentiful outlets allow for people to sit and work, though most seating is not soft or tables not very wide. Service is affective. This Panera, as all the ones that I’ve seen suffers from the problem of gaps in coffee/hot water availability, with one or another type periodically empty or missing, pending replacement.“
