Hair in my broth. Wait time of 45 minutes and we still only had our broth none of our food items. Broth had sesame seeds inside which some of us are allergic to. Bad service do not recommend . They say unlimited food but they do not give you more than one serving and forget about second drinks . You’ll only get the check and nothing else in a timely manner

Something about this places food didn't hit the spot. I love hot pot during the winter and I went on a very cold night. I didn't dislike anything but I usually leave Hot Pot feeling statified and finishing my soup. From this place I left most of my soup and just ate noodles. I honestly don't know why it didn't work for me. The place was busy so ppl in general like it.

pretty bad first time experience for a hotpot. when asking what some menu items are, our waiter just said they didn’t know and that was that. service was horribly slow and it was rarely busy when we went. the bathrooms were also very gross. you can’t flush the toilet paper down the outlet so you need to throw it in the trash can which i find really gross considering when i went into the bathroom the trash can was full with used toilet paper.. also most menu items we were looking for they didn’t have available.

Their service was so slow, and food wasn’t up to par with many places I’ve tried. The lady wasn’t inclusive with any of my friends not was she social. This place is not a good place to eat, it smells and it’s unsanitary, and gets messy quick. No one knew what they were doing and it was an unprofessional business. They should get no stars. Sorry not sorry.

The food was ok. The prices are just way too high compared to their better competitors. The menu clearly says "Lunch Special 14.99", but somehow depending on who you are, they do NOT honor it. They made us pay a price that appeared to be written on masking tape in the menu. The dining experience was ok, not good not bad just ok. We got almost little to no attention while cooking our own food. The biggest issue was the when the check came. She was extremely adamant telling my husband what her tip should be. He wrote down a fair amount. He argued that was fair. As we were walking out, she changed the tip on the receipt. I wish she didn't do that. We were planning on coming back and now we won't. If she's reading this, was that $5 difference in tip really worth losing customers?? We will dispute the charges.

Real hot pot and BBQ as you may find in Asia with lots of selection of seafood, pork, meat, shrimp, tofu, vegetable and more

Nice party rooms, spacious and fantastic sauce bar. Food is timely, fresh and satisfies a hot pot craving in the local Morris County neighborhood.

This rating is based on the fact that when we got there at 9:15pm tonight they told us they are closing at 10pm and can only offer takeouts. However, their website states they close at 11pm. First of all, who will do carry out for hot pot! 2nd, update your website. Been to this restaurant precovid and I would give it 4 stars. Post covid we been there once and the quality of food went down hence I would give it 3 stars. After tonight, I give it 2 stars because your website shows closing at 11pm and not 10pm.

Do not go to this place!!!!! Customer service is horrible! Took my family for dinner, after taking my daughter to HomeTown Hot Pot & BBQ in NYC thinking we would have some good family fun and everyone can experience what my daughter and friends experience the night before. Wrong!!!! I should have gone back to New York because this place sucks!!!! My husband and I were doing the all-you-can-eat hot pot and BBQ and the three kids were doing all-you-can-eat hot pot. They told me we would all need to do all-you-can-eat hot pot and bbq. I explain my children don’t eat meat. They wanted my husband and me to sit at a separate table because this is their way of preventing people from sharing food. When it states on the menu if you violate sharing you will be charged. They sent three people out to tell me we either order the same thing or go to a deprecate table.

One of the worst restaurants I've ever been to Rancid frozen meats and fetid sea food Servers are rude and barely speak English They were pissed when I didn't leave a tip - are you kidding?

Been here several times since it opened and since reopening after covid. Ordered lunch special, but when only half the food was served, I went to the counter and asked for the rest (all of which was vegetables: cabbage, root veggies, etc.). I was told that they only served a few things from the lunch menu because they “couldn’t change the price.” However, they had handwritten prices on every other page, or masking tape deleting other options in the menus. I told them they should have explained that what was listed wasn’t being served, and they told me that I could order each additional vegetable for $4 each.

I came in today to eat. My experience was terrible. The man that was taking our order got half the order wrong we were missing corn shrimp asparagus cabbage potatoes. Told us there is no more coke then bring a can to someone else. Didnt set up our grill until the food came out the girl who brought the food said something to him about it. Then the women had the audacity to come outside saying you know the tips no included in the bill. I knew the tip wasnt included and i wasn’t going to leave any for the bad service. And they werent even busy majority of the time they were standing in the front talking. Never comming here again

I rarely post reviews, but this place really annoyed me. Went for lunch this week and ordered the $14.99 lunch special - gives you a small plate of meat and a plate with some veggies, root veggies, seaweed, fish balls, etc. No leafy greens, except a few small sprigs of broccoli - disappointing. At the end of the meal, I wanted to take home leftovers, but they said I couldn’t. Didn’t understand since it’s not “all you can eat” - it’s what I ordered and paid for - are they using the leftovers for other guests??? They then wanted to charge $2.00 for each container to bring home the leftovers - ARE YOU KIDDING??? Never again.

Had lunch there this week and ordered the lunch special for $14.99. It was just okay - you get a small plate of shaved meat and another plate with vegetables, small pieces of taro root, turnips, seaweed knots, noodles, fish balls, tofu, etc. Disappointed that they had no green leafy vegetables, except some small sprigs of broccoli - typically, I'm used to a lot of different green vegetables. At the end, I wanted to take home the remaining soup with the leftover vegetables/meat that I didn't finish and at first they said I couldn't. I didn't understand this, since this wasn't "all you can eat" - it was the meal that I ordered and was paying for. Then they said I could pay $2.00 for a container to take the leftovers home - Are you kidding me??? I have NEVER been charged for a container to take home my leftovers! Perhaps they will use the leftovers for other guests???? BEWARE!!! Won't ever return.

Been a customer here since they opened a few years back. They have a good variety of foods here: hot pot, Korean bbq, dim sum and even boba tea. The restaurant is big and sprawling and easy to maintain good social distancing. Plenty of parking outside and located in a nice strip mall on Route 10. This review is for their hot pot. They have a great variety of soup bases and a wide range of selections to choose from in terms of ingredients. The problem is the quality of the ingredients. The meat now is shaved so thin that it almost disappears completely in the hot broth. The other ingredients range fresh to not so fresh. Could it be supplier issues? The service, while friendly and pleasant, is frustratingly slow. Even when they're not busy. Yet they seem to have a good number of employees both in front and on the back. But still it takes forever to get the refill orders for the AYCE. The ice cream section has definitely improved however. 4 flavors, Vanilla, chocolate, strawberry and green tea. Pre pandemic I'd have given this location a 4 but I have to down grade now to a 3.
