What happened to you? The food used to be consistently great. Now the beef chow fun is a pile of mushy noodle paste and the house tofu looks like little broken bits of tofu that doesn't even taste right. When you went to the much smaller take out containers while increasing prices, I was still willing to pay for good food. Nowadays I feel robbed when ordering from you.

I ordered the vegetarian pad Thai to-go. It was way too sweet. It wasn't the worst but it didn't really taste like pad-thai. However the place was very

Extremely slow service. The ratio was definitely off because it seems like the employees were wearing multiple hats meaning the greeter is seating, taking orders, cleaning tables and running in between the kitchen. Food was below average and I'm not sure if it was due to the lack of staff. Thai basil noodles were overcooked and bland. Shrimp pad thai was also flavorless. Vegetarian spring rolls were cold (unfortunately did not capture pic).

This is one of my favorite Malaysia restaurants in East Hanover. The curry beef strew is so delicious, it’s my husband and daughter’s favorite. My favorite is the Tom yum seafood noodle soup, it comes with a lot of seafood, is the best I have had compared to other Malaysia restaurants. The roti with curry dip is great appetizer.
We have been going to Penang on a very regular basis and we really enjoy the food and the service. The taste is close to pretty authentic Malaysian food and very tasty. The staff there is very friendly and is always welcoming. There is also BYOB so if you plan in advance, please do bring a bottle of your own wine to enjoy with your food. When in a rush I also do take away pretty often. The only downside is that you cannot make a reservation in advance especially for Friday nights so if you come at a peak time you could be waiting for a while.
