Love a good ole Chinese buffet any day! Pretty good food and nice atmosphere. Def a place we will visit again.

I've been here a few times, the food is ok but very expensive. $160 dollars for 3 adults and 2 children. And also the waitresses are always more aware of forcing us to leave a tip. tipping should be optional not mandatory. The place is not clean.

I used to really like this place but I guess COVID really changed them. It is remarkably much lower in the quality and freshness of the food and significantly more expensive. The place needs to decide EITHER a covid charge OR a tip because I won't pay both. Don't be deceptive about it - it just makes the customer mad. I won't be back until I see the reviews improve.

para nada lo recomiendo! comida vieja y apesta a podrido los pollos. el arroz se siente de goma. los marisco no tiene sabor. las sodas tienen sabor a agua la atencion es pésima.. te retiran tu plato sin preguntarte si terminastes. y al final te dicen, con las galletitas.... "gracias por venir y recuerda darme una propina." descaradas!!!

Grossly overpriced FAKE Chinese buffet restaurant with a downright nasty hostess who actually had the temerity to tell me that NJ tap water was unsafe to drink. They charge over $20 for a crappy selection of food and build in the sodas to the cost. You can opt out of the sodas, but these thieves will then bring you NO water UNLESS you buy bottled water! Anyone who believes the food here is tasty must not have any taste buds left. Too many of the dishes on the buffet tables are overheated, dried out, scorched or in some other way compromised. They used to offer sliced steak and crab legs and those have been taken off the menu. I don't know if this place has changed ownership, but on my most recent visit, the hostess who charged me was downright nasty and I don't need to be lectured to by a 20-something Asian who probably worked for the Chinese Communist Party before moving to NJ. Do yourself a favor: save your money and time and pass this place by. The food sucks, the price is unjustified and the service terrible and the cleanliness of this place needs to be investigated by the East Hanover, NJ Health Department.

The food was not good, for Friday lunch was the same food as dinner… food was all dried and tasteless. I felt bad for the servers as it’s not their fault, but they snuck in the COVID service charge of 15% and force a $2 drink charge without telling you, the cashier had a nasty attitude not even trying to explain or break it down… brush off the excuses to management. But the servers said she’s the manager. Enough said…. A half size paper printed on the counter top of the register with a mess of stuff all around it is the call make it known. The drinks are not shown on the pricing, they say drinks are included but it’s an additional $2 per person aside from the charge posted! Very sly! I feel very bad for those poor server girls.. I left with a cash tip for them but will never return unless it’s under new management.

I used to go here with my old school I went for a quick lunch and they have no tap water their sushi sucks the only thing I liked was the mussels and clam I ran out of there before the asked for a tip I won’t be back

This is the worst buffet restaurant ever!!! Me and my wife were so hungry from a 13 hour shift taking care of covid patients. On our way home, we saw this "Sakura" Buffet and we were so excited that it could be a Japanese Buffet. We never had the time to read the reviews (3.5 stars). We were thinking of leaving right away as soon as we saw the food choices. But as I've said, we were so hungry and decided to give it a shot. It was one of the worst decision we ever made. I wouldn't mind about the 15% covid service as long as the food is good, but it was not fresh and taste like it's refrigerated and microwaved. We we're there around 8pm and the there's no Hibachi attendant and the veggies and meat were looking stale ? The worst part, there were rice floating on the egg drop soup and my wife complained to the server to change it. They just took out the whole soup and never replaced it, explaining to customers that it's not available anymore. There sesame balls was so hard, it can cause damage to your veneers. So Horrible!!! The only thing I liked there was their Bottled Water, it was very cold and fresh. Ahhhhh!!!

They doubled the payment on December 31 and January 1, adding steaks and lobsters to the menu, but that was not justified. Steak meat without salt had no taste, and only leftovers from lobsters. In addition, dirty cutlery and tables are not allowed.

The quality of this place has fallen to the ground. Service is awful, employees are rude. We found dirty plates and cutlery and showed them to the staff and just shrugged it off and rudely told us"to just get another". The restrooms are dirty and smelly.Worst part, they wouldn' give us a receipt to verify the charges- we had to insist many times to get the receipt and even when they printed the receipt they took it back 2 or 3 times from my hand.When we finally got the receipt and verified the charges, we found a surcharge of 15%-when asked for an explanation It was described as a "Covid charge" for parties of 4 or more- when we asked why we weren't informed from the get go, the cashier showed as a sign on the counter, which was unconspicuos, not visible, basically hidden - unless they want to point it out to the customers, which they don't unless thy have no choice, like in this case- We figured most customers don' t ask for the receipt to verify what they are really paying for.The cherry on the cake: they very rudely demanded to be tipped.Do not go there until they get their act together - the food is not bad, not good either - just average.- not worth the high price and the aggraviation of poor service, lack of cleanliness and rude staff.

We where charged a 15 percent covid service fee that was never done. There was no explanation given for the additional charges (no paper was accuse given) until asked . The so called covid service was just them cleaning off plates and wiping down the table with the same dirty yellow rag for every table and when we were leaving they asked for a tip. If I had read the reviews I never would had gone there and the food wasn't the greatest either don't waste your time or money.

Do not eat here if you care anything about food quality or cleanliness. The moment I walked in I could smell the slight stench of sewage / mold. The food was 1 star at best but just the overall sense of filth of the restaurant made everything taste feel even worse. I really can't discourage you enough from eating here! I rarely write reviews but I was so disgusted by this place...I felt an obligation. You've been warned!

So disgusting. Not fresh or tasty or even hot. Although it is the same menu for most Chinese open buffet but this one is ? & cost about $5 more than the good one in JC.
