Baked goods were delicious. The hot sandwiches looked so good, but were cold in the middle with a thick cold lump of cheese and the customer service from the female in the sandwich line was awful. She was rude and seemed disappointed that she had customers.

These are donuts from ShopRite bakery in Parsippany they blow this other bakery away I'm very disappointed it's hard to get donuts with jelly and cream and lava cake that is only a quarter filled with chocolate with such expensive pricing

I look forward to getting their Gluten-free canoli and cheese cake when I'm in town visiting family several times a year. Today was a huge disappointment. After driving around and waiting for parking I went in. Myself and 3 other ladies found that there were no more numbers and proceeded to wait in the long line without one. When we got to the counter we were refused service and told to go back and get a number and wait. We told them that none of us saw numbers and were not able to get one. Once again we were sent back. So, I left. I will no longer look forward to Sorentos and will not be back. Very disappointing ?

Went there for lunch today for the first time. Chicken cutlet was dry with no taste, “fresh mozzarella” was dry with no taste and the sun dried tomatoes were like rubber and extra chewy??Bread was also dry and I’m guessing they tried to make up for everything being dry with about 10 ounces of balsamic vinegar.Thankfully I didn’t buy any pastries!Overall was pretty bad tbh.One and done!!Dan PElmwood Park, NJ

I bought a carrot cake yesterday and there was more icing than cake. And now they charge a percentage if you use a credit card. Not the same bakery I grew up with.

What a disappointment! Heading home and needing a dessert to take to friends' home we stopped at Sorrento's. Their "Tres Leche" cake looked great so we grabbed one (for $30 bucks) and headed to the party. Now to me tres leches is a moist creamy dessert and one would think a cake so named, would be too! Nope! It was a really dry cake with no real flavor of anything at all, let alone tres leches. Such a disappointment and it was embarrassing to have taken it to our hosts. I'm giving Sorrento two stars because I'm sure they do make so delicious bakes....just not tres leches! We won't be going back there when there are such delicious bakeries as "NinaLou" in Chester and CoCo Lux in Peapack for us to enjoy!

Amazing mini pastries and cakes. Must go! Love all pastries, black/white cookies, molten lava cake. Cannoli cake is a must!

Wow and yes wow . A great real authentic Italian bakery in every sense. The Italian round bread was amazing and the Zeppole de San Giuseppe were outstanding. Although we live in Somerset County, we will again visit this great establishment. To the owners, 'Bella Cose'!

Do not miss.!! We live in Georgia and have been craving Italian subs. This has one of the best Italian subs I’ve ever had! The staff are so lovely and helpful. They doted on my 2 year old son and even shrink wrapped a sandwich for us to take in our suitcase. I also got a crumb cake, dinner roll, birthday cupcakes, and baguette. All delicious! The cupcakes were light and the frosting was just sweet enough (not overly.)Kid-friendliness: The counter makes it easy to order with a toddler and the staff are patient and helpful

Ordered a #23. Dry, cold, tasteless, grilled chicken with a stingy amount and low quality mozzarella and jar roasted peppers. Not a pinch of salt pepper or garlic. Not a hint of marinade. Just overbearing amount of good bread and flavorless protein. Should have been a tip off that this sandwich wouldn’t be fresh. when I attempted to order a meatball parm sandwich was told no hot sandwich’s on Sunday. Can’t understand the positive reviews. If you can’t make a simple grilled chicken and a friggin Shop Rite can somehow manage it, it really makes me wonder people’s tastes. The negative reviews are all about the staff which I agree with. Nasty people all around. Now what you have here is an over hyped deli with poor quality ingredients, poor execution, and poor staff. As with many “Italian” deli in NJ, this place is meant to impress the medigan. You’ve been informed.

Would give -5 stars if I could..bought a birthday cake and everyone who had a piece said it tasted terrible..I called and the manager apologized and said bring it back he’d refund my money..I took it back the next morning and asked for the manager..a short blonde lady came to the counter with a total attitude.. very nasty..I explained what happened and told her I had called the night before..after getting a attitude from her for five minutes she finally returned my money..I had to go out at night to purchase a different cake! Ruined the birthday.. no apology just a total, nasty attitude.. good way to conduct business..lost a customer for sure and will let everyone know not to go there
