I was truly looking forward to getting a cake for my kids' birthday party from this bakery as I had heard raving reviews about their strawberry crunch cake. After discussing the details with the owner and finalizing the cake's flavor and decoration, I was confident that everything was set for the pickup on the scheduled day. However, upon calling the store to notify them of my arrival, I was informed that they had no record of my order and that the cake had not been made. This was incredibly disheartening, especially since the cake was meant to be the highlight of the party. I felt thoroughly disappointed by this entire experience.

I ordered some dessert for Thanksgiving that I never received. It was supposed to be ready at a certain time and I went to pick up and it wasn't. The owner stated she would drop it off and never did. I had a small gathering but no dessert. I am disappointed because I could have gotten something else. Even if she said it wouldn't be possible for me to get my order when I went to pick it up it would have given me enough time to improvise.

Unfortunately, my experience wasn’t the greatest. I came in someday during the last week as I stumbled upon the reviews and the peach cobbler. I was greeted nicely and they were really sweet. I asked about the peach cobbler and was told to come in and try it out the following day. The following day, I called and was told to come at 2pm to try it. I arrived that same time just to be told it needed cooling down. (I live like 30 mins away and am a college student livin on a budget so that was time and money wasted). Thankfully and very sweet of them, they delivered over to me. She brought us two pieces to try for my mother and I. I called the next day to pick up at 10am Saturday. A whole weeks notice since i made this call the past Saturday. Saturday comes and I arrive at 10am. It wasn’t even made and I had to work @12. I was then told that there was events that came up and should’ve called beforehand. But I called at a weeks notice and was never told to call beforehand just to help out since they are just two people working here. I was not aware and am not a local here. It was really unfair and felt like they couldn’t really care less. Again, even more time and money wasted. I had to make it work out and even called during my work to double check with them. It arrived and yeah no discount was given but the man did apologize on their behalf. Overall, my experience was not the greatest. They seem to prioritize a catering rather than a simple one. Their desserts are great but the service is not all there. So keep in mind for those not local that they are just two and for any orders placed to always call and be doublechecking with them. I wish I was told this beforehand, would’ve been no problem.

Wow, the banana pudding here is amazing! Absolutely fantastic! Bananas, Chessman butter cookies, and Nan's creamy banana pudding = The perfect combination. 5/5 - A must try! The staff were friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Will definitely be back for more treats !
