THE WORST ST. PATRICK’S EXPERIENCE I’VE EVER HAD! My boyfriend is from Dublin and we were excited to join the Rutherford community with our close friend from the area who raved about the locals but clearly Blarney’s is not part of that comradery. Myself and my partner were rudely kicked out from the establishment due to an employee’s, lack of customer service skills. The hospitality is not present in this establishment so don’t go there if that is what you are looking for or let alone any customer respect at all. We will not be back and we will be sure that all our customers (irish or not) as well as friends know of the lack of support and respect in this establishment. This place is potentially prejudice and or racist. Maybe that is why we were kicked out. This bar/restaurant is not one to frequent. #montclairgirlreview

I always have a great time here, whether it's for drinks with friends, solo dinner or a date. The servers and bartenders are very friendly and down to earth. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Quality of food is very good. It's a little small, which never caused me any problems, but something to keep in mind on busier days. Someone here complained in a review that it's expensive for the amount of food that you get but you're paying for quality not quantity. Plus it's still cheaper than the overpriced restaurants in Rutherford, which seem to prefer status over service.

Very hostile place, first and last time I ever come here. Worst bar experience I've ever had in my life. Bartender was rude

Ian is an awesome bartender. He was killing it all night! And the live music on a Tuesday was a nice touch.

Went there today with other couples to have a drink and eat something. Drinks came fast. Waited over an hour. Still no food. After waiting even longer no food yet. Don't blame the waitress but obviously the cook couldn't handle it!!! Everyone else was eating but not us. We left without eating. Very poor business!!!

Amazing food highly recommend. Thank Katie for being an amazing host. We traveled over an hour away and appreciate your hospitality. Love the Steak Taco and Brownie.

I have been here a couple of times, and the food is always excellent. The atmosphere is good. I have eaten outside which is a nice way to enjoy the weather. The fish and chips is excellent And the burgers. I’ve also had the pierogies which are yummy. The service is good and you can get a drink since it is a Pub.

First time, was expecting more. Hair in my son's burger, service was slow AF (and it wasn't even busy), cardinal rules of service and food delivery were violated, cocktails lousy and watered-down. Not going out of my way to come back. It is what it is.

We visited the Blarney Station Pub for a very early (4:00 pm) dinner on Sunday, June 11th. It was a beautiful so we were able to sit at a table in the sidewalk seating area outside. We sat under an awning and it was very pleasant. My wife and I (in our 60's) were joined by our son, who is in his 20's. None of us are fond of loud restaurants; the indoor part of the Blarney Station Pub has a bar area and also a seating area. The bar area was rather loud (so that one would have to raise one's voice to carry on a conversation). Outside was much quieter, except that it is located adjacent to the Rutherford Train Station and trains came through or arrived and departed at least three times in the hour we were there. They are loud enough to interfere with conversations, but usually short in duration. The food was excellent - we shared the German pretzel with Guiness cheese appetizer. Four (approximately) 8-inch straight pretzels were firm on the outside and baked to a soft, bread-like interior (not doughy, as some pretzels are). We all enjoyed the appetizer. I had the shepherd's pie and it was delicious, though it did not come with any side dish accompaniments. There were quite a few beers/ales on tap (I think about 25 varieties). My son and I each had a Guiness stout. The service was prompt and the servers were helpful with menu suggestions and they made sure that we were taken care of properly. I enjoyed the Blarney Station Pub and would definitely consider going back again.Parking: Parking was available about one block away on the street; we came at an early hour on Sunday, so parking was no problem. Coming by Train to Rutherford station would actually drop you off closer to the restaurant than where you would park a car.

8 tiny (overfried) wings are 16 bucks. These are 25 cent wings at best. Almost everything on the menu is at least 15 bucks (sides not included). Appetizers are the same price as most other menu items.Good service.
