I am handicapped. I went to pick my kids up at dance and mma classes. There were no handicapped spots or regular spots on the street. I saw an empty lot with at least 15 open parking spots in it so I parked. I came out to my car getting towed with 2 crying kids. The tow truck driver told me that the restaurant manager called on me. I went inside to speak to him but the servers said there was nobody there. He was hiding in the back like a coward. He finally came out and started yelling at me. Once he saw, I was handicapped, he changed his tune and went out and asked the tow truck driver to drop the car. After paying $150, I had the car dropped. The tow truck driver and police officer said he sits at the camera and waits for people to park there just so we can call the cops and have them towed. I could see if the restaurant was full and they needed the spots but it was completely empty. Now I know why it was empty. Reading the reviews as the food is horrible, and the management is also disgusting. How do you tow a handicap car? Karma is real and you will face yours one day sir.

Upon my daughter’s recommendation I visited Caffe Capri looking to have little clams over spaghetti. I ordered a dish which immediately smelled extremely foul fishy smell. The minute the plate came out I knew something was wrong. I tried one clam just to be sure and it had somewhat of a foul taste. I then took a picture thinking maybe it was just me , so I tried a second one upon biting into I immediately spit it out. The waiter then came over and asked how my meal was. I told him it smelt extremely fishy and I believed the clam were bad. He then Proceeded to ask me if I wanted a bag to take it to go! I said no there was something wrong with the dish. Against my better judgement I order something else surely after I believe it was the owner who then came out to ask about my meal. When I explained that the clams were bad he proceeded to tell me he watched me on the camera count the clams and take a picture of the clams. So I proceeded to tell him then he should have seen me spit the clam out. Then he tried to tell me it was the Parmesan cheese that threw off the taste of the foul, stinking , fishy taste! He proceeded to tell me he would take it off the bill as if he was doing me a favor. It was the first and LAST time I will step foot in this restaurant, due to the rude owner who was as foul as the clams I was served!

My mother was a paying customer at this place. It was a Friday night and she asked the owner Eddie if she could leave her car there overnight due to consuming alcohol at HIS BUSINESS. She showed up the next day and her car was gone. She was informed they called her car to get towed even though she had permission to park it overnight. The parking lot was even empty with no customers so it is not like they needed the spot. They were well aware of whose car it was and that they were coming back the next day. My mother was informed that this is not the first time they have done it and have had CUSTOMERS cars towed while they were still eating dinner!!This cost my mother well over $300 and the towing company was closed after 12 on Saturday and closed on Sunday. This means my mom went two days without transportation and had work! You would think as paying customers they would not screw you over any chance they got. I would not recommend this place to anyone and would advise AGAINST going here. Instead of being concerned about the well being of their patrons, they made it difficult for someone to make the right choice by not drinking and driving. I will be sharing this experience with everyone I know.

Let me start with saying disgusting, the restaurant, the workers the owners.....This place has been going down hill because of the lack of potential that they have, they over price everything and higher the prices even more depending on your impression at the restaurant .Let me also go on to say that I went to pick something up after being at their restaurant at one of the local stores there for one minute and I came back to my car being towed and the response was that "if I park here and I'm not at their restaurant then they tow it". So if they aren't making business inside they are making it outside because the towing people were splitting bills with them which is funny because if they think this is going to go on for much longer they are mistaking.PSA NEVER COMING BACK, DONT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!

Cafe Capri is small gem of an Italian restaurant in East Rutherford .it's been there for years. I go there often. I especially love the marinara pizza which has fresh tomato slices and fresh garlic.Keep in mind that this pizza has no cheese,but all their pizzas are good.Also try the ricotta cheese cake ,it is the best and has coconut.

I use to love this place but it has really gone down hill. The bus boy spilt sauce all over my lap he doesn’t apologize but tells me it’s not hot & makes me feel like it’s my fault if that wasn’t bad enough he comes back out of the kitchen & makes a wise comment like I caused him to spill the dinner on my lap. When we got the bill the prices were 30% higher than the Menu prices. Service was terrible on top of it. I think it changed owners I see no familiar faces. Food was not as good as it was in the past. I recommend not going there.

There's multiple reasons why you might've had a bad experience. Food wise or service. This is my second time ordering (haven't dined in person yet) and the food is phenomenal. So I can only imagine when I dine in at cafe capri. 2nd time me and my gf had the spaghetti carbonara and penne al a vodka. Both times we were very impressed!
