Horrific experience!! Racist manager and don’t recommend anyone to go there! He was screaming and yelling non stop on customers who looked very classy and non violent.

I was there with my family on easter. I ordered the Buratta salad as an appetizer and the sea bass as my entree. The salad dressing was unusual, it had a sharp spice to it. The sea bass was on a bed of dark rentals with a yellow sauce around it. It tasted very rich. There were unpleasant large pieces of ginger amount the dark lentils. Because the sauce was dark you couldn’t tell what bits of whatever was in it. I didn’t want to complain as to not disturb my families easter dinner. I couldn’t eat all of it. I did my best at eating the fish without eating the sauce. It was a mistake. I was sick in the bathroom for hours at night. I learned a couple of lessons, 1. return food if you can’t eat it 2. don’t try to eat anything that might taste off 3. NEVER go back to restaurants that you get sick from eating at If anyone else got sick after eating their easter dinner at this place please complain.

This restaurant used to be Park and Orchard which was so much better. First, when you sit down you are advised that you have 2 hours to finish your meal as a party of 4. Is that how you treat a guest? You also have to order your apps and entree right away. Our entree came out immediately after the app. Rush rush! Can’t fault the food. The strawberry and beet app and the zucchini and eggplant chips were good. The levraki was also good as was the seafood pasta. Unfortunately we left without having dessert because it was so noisy. Definitely wouldn’t go back unless they were more welcoming.

Booked a table for two for my husband's birthday. As soon as we were seated, the waiter told us we had 90 mins. We ordered a bottle of wine and when the waiter poured our wine, he filled the glass nearly two-thirds full, which is amateurish or a path to rushing us out the door. We ordered two appetizers which were lovely... the bread salad special and the moussaka rolls. Halfway through our appetizer our main courses were brought to the table. We sent the entrees back to the kitchen and finished our appetizer. The wait staff apologized but again we felt rushed. Our main course arrived after our appetiizer plates were cleared. Wine glasses were empty and we looked for someone to.pour the wine which was siting in a bucket 3 tables away against the wall. About 10 mind later someone came to.pour the wine. The fish was high quality but swimming in butter that overwhelmed the fish. The pasta seafood dish was delicious. We passed on dessert and coffee. I understand service is challenged these days, but at this price point I expected more professionalism. On another note the setting was beautiful and the menu offered a nice selection.

Elia continues to shine. Ambiance and decor is always on point as well as service. Food is consistently delicious. We focused on appetizers and they were all excellent. A nice evening out.

The establishment has valet parking which is a plus since local parking is virtually impossible. They have outdoor dining which is welcoming and as the colder weather is approaching. VERY WARM, lively and welcoming. The indoor dining is surprising, it remined us of "Asia De Cuba", which was featured on a popular TV show. As you walk in there's lively music, a very happening bar scene and everything is tastily decorated in shades of white. The service was outstanding, my only reservation was what our head server said to us shortly after being seated. We were a party of 4 for 6:30, 3 of us arrived early (6:05) and were seated, the fourth member was coming a 6:30. We ordered drinks waiting for the arrival of the additional guest. The server came to us with the drinks and asked us if we knew what our guest wanted to eat and drink. He explained that we only have the table for 2 hours, my response was well then since we have reservations at 6:30 and now it's 6:15, we'll be gone by 8:30. That was a minor aggravation considering their prices, after all how many people could have been served at this table between 6:05 and 6:30? All in all, great ambiance, outstanding service with quality food to match. Every meal from the appetizers to the main course were well prepared, savory and esthetically pleasant. This was an "ENTERTAING EXPERIENCE", which we will definitely repeat and recommend.

This past Sunday we just had the Best Wedding Ever for my daughter at our Favorite Restaurant, ELIA. I don’t know where to start or finish because I am still receiving calls, texts and emails all saying that this was the best wedding they ever attended. This was all due to the excellent execution and direction from Tim & Annamaria. The food, as always was awesome from the cocktail hour appetizers to the soup to nuts dinner. There was never a halt to the flow of the night. The staff was on top of everything, always polite and ever accessible. I just can’t say enough. I would like to say that it was our planning that made it but it was the professionals at Elia that did the trick. If you are planning to have a party of any size, call Tim or Annamaria, you won’t be sorry!

My wife and I wanted to try Elia for sometime and we were glad we did. Elia is a Mediterranean restaurant with a Greek inspired menu offering fresh fish, steaks and pasta. It has a full bar, bar seating, an extensive wine list, specialty cocktails and outdoor seating. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the service impeccable. We began with the crab stuffed avocado and the crab cakes as appetizers. The avocado was fresh and over stuffed with crab meat. The crab cakes were almost all crab and came with a delicious pickled melon and slaw. Entrees were the scallops and the sea bass. The scallops were large and seared perfectly and the sea bass was one of the best I have eaten. It was served over a risotto with peas, corn and spinach in a delicious beurre blanc sauce. For dessert we chose the baklava and bread pudding. The baklava was on of the best I have eaten. Elia is an excellent restaurant that you must definitely try.

Amazing!!!! This restaurant should be your list of things to do when you are in Mykonos. Elia beach is divine! The restaurant serves the most incredible fresh authentic Greek food. The service is exceptional! When you are here ask for Nellie, Neokli or young Dimitri for everything you need! They make great recommendations for food and Greek wines! The Greek Viogner (white) is delicious! I’m left with the most happiest of memories after 4 lunches here!!! XO

I hate leaving bad reviews, but I think people should know. Elia in Rutherford. Upon the recommendations of a local group, my husband and I made a reservation to go to Elia on Friday. I went to their website, clicked the link to make a reservation, and it took me to OpenTable. I made the reservation for 6:30 Friday night. My husband and I arrived on time and proceeded to the host desk. Gave our name, man looks at his list, says we’re not on it. We said we had a reservation and received the confirmation email. He said sometimes it doesn’t work and it’s not his problem. My husband even showed him the email and he barely glanced at it. He has one table left and we can have it. Hostess walks us thru the outside tent, thru the inside part of the restaurant, to a side room where 2 large, noisy parties are already seated, and no one else. She leads us to a tiny 2 top table. We sit down, look at each other, and decide that we do not want to eat somewhere where we were treated so rudely and disrespectfully. Honestly, there were tons of empty tables on our way to this remote table. We got up and left. If your restaurant uses a link that directs me to somewhere else to make a reservation, and it doesn’t always work, that is clearly your problem, and you should not treat people so rudely, especially when you appear to be the face of the restaurant. We will not return to Elia. We could have been great customers there- once we like a place, we return again and again. We will not return there. So many restaurants in this area, you really shouldn’t be rude to people and lose business.

The ladies that served us were nice. But everything was a terrible experience. Wine was terrible. First we ordered white wine— it was bad!— then we got a spanish red and it tasted like cheap wine. The meat was so bad we asked them to take it back. We asked for more feta cheese and they brought butter!!! Poor lady because her service was good but it’s the restaurant it self that we think it’s just bad. Sorry.

The ambiance is the best thing this place has to offer. What really sets it apart. And they have a great selection of appetizers which are done very well. Which is why I decided to give it a 2nd try. Unfortunately the service was a let down for a second time. The server made us feel very uncomfortable. Simple requests seemed to trouble him greatly. And the attitude was palpable. Very awkward when trying to enjoy a dinner. They also kept trying to clear our plates when we were clearly still eating. It felt very rushed. They were constantly ready to pounce and hurry up the dining experience. Not what you want to experience when celebrating an event. Or when spending these prices. I did appreciate the dessert they gave us. An apple tart with so many exceptionally tasty accompaniments. Very unique and delicious. This restaurant is so beautiful, if they could make the customer feel like their business was appreciated and valued (one of the most important things in my eyes) they would really set themselves apart.

We sat in a newly constructed tent outside - luckily it was not too cold - ordered a lot of food and eventually landed up taking most of it home. The grilled octopus was super. You could sense that you were eating something of good quality and even though some of the fish dishes appeared a bit expensive, you did not mind doing so. i had the seafood with pasta while others chose the Bass. All in all - you can't go wrong here!
