I am absolutely appalled and outraged by the discriminatory actions taken by Elia restaurant in East Rutherford. While at dinner yesterday, our group requested a certain song when asked what music we wanted to hear. We were then told that Elia's management has instructed the Du explicitly not to play music from "certain" nationalities, an act that reeks of anti-Semitism and blatant racism. This kind of behavior is not only shameful but also incredibly harmful, perpetuating division and hatred. We cannot and will not tolerate this in our community. It's time for us to raise our voices, demand accountability, and ensure that such disgraceful discrimination has no place in our society. Yesterday we came to Ellias for my son gf birthday ?.And let me tell you super worth it.Ann Marie accomodated us with the nice table by bar .We shared bunch of appetizers which were superbly tasty.we had chillean seabass and was outstanding.Our waiter Mahmoud was very attentive and gave us 5 stars expirence.Whole staff were on top of everything .the entertainment was absolutely classy bourlesque and violinist made our night .Thank you for the magical expirence .highly recomending.
Went to Elia for Valentine's day, and I loved the ambiance with the DJ! The service is helpful and the food is high quality. The dessert was my favorite by far. Definitely recommend.

I would give this restaurant less stars but not available and it has nothing to do with food...it's ok, not outstanding enough to handle the very poor attitude of restaurant. Telling you right up front you have 1 1/2 hour to have drinks, appetizers,main,dessert...idiots. Food is good policies so stupid and obnoxious. They better hope they stay in business,I will never visit again. Michelen Star you are not and they would not treat you this way. You are catering to people who obviously don't care about your policies rudeness. Your restaurant needs training in how to make your customers comfortable and not rushed. Worst experience ever in a restaurant in my life.

We enjoyed the food UNTIL the dessert came and we found a small cockroach in our dessert. A chocolate dessert that came in a jar they smoke for presentation. Very disappointing considering how good the meal was. A crawling roach on your dessert is never present.

As good as it gets. A role model for a restaurant. Attentive staff. Hostes witha great smile. Food that comes by intrigues you to find out more of what is being served. And a diversity of choices that you never feel like I had that before. Again a quick lunch for me, but what an experience. To be continued .....

This afternoon my parents and I went to brunch. We had Ehab as a server and he was an absolute delight (and funny). We always love coming here however today was even better. We always feel special and cared for when dining here. We have been a few times however we will be coming back more. Customer service is some of the best I’ve received from a restaurant in a while. If you are wondering if you should dine here you should food, service, ambience all top notch.
What a fantastic surprise!!!Food is excellent, service is fantastic and the ambient is like been in “vacation on the mediterranean sea”.When in that area i will definitely came back again!
What a fantastic time! Beautiful Mediterranean decor to compliment all the delicious dishes. Service was excellent and the place was vibrant. Got this restaurant from watching Real Housewives of New Jersey..and it didn’t disappoint. Will definitely be back.
We had a delicious meal - but from start to finish we were out in hour and 15 minutes. We were there for our anniversary, there was a note on our table and dessert sent by our children. We barely took a sip of our drink when the appetizer was brought over and then the dinner was close behind. The waiter, Marcelo, thought another table's meal was ours and we said we had just received our appetizer and he said that he cannot send it back to the kitchen. the dessert had a sparkler and unfortunately the dessert tasted like “gas” from the sparkler. If I hadn't asked who sent the dessert I don't think we would have been told and as I mentioned our kids took the time to call it in and pay for it. We have never had this experience here before, but at these prices, we shouldn't be rushed.
