Staff are elderly women who are racist and not friendly. our server was avoiding me and my boyfriends table the whole night. i almost got up to ask for a new one. She was not pleased we were an interracial couple and she made it obvious. This was supposed to be a spontaneous trip to a bar and it turned into a reminder of old folks have not changed. we will never be coming back

I generally enjoy coming here for food and drink. Been coming many years. I enjoy the food. I’ve heard other people complain of bug problems in the kitchen and years ago I did see an ant cooked into my onion ring so I don’t order that anymore but I’ve had no food problems since.Great drinks. Generally good service but one particular older waitress has been rude to me and my family on numerous occasions which should be unacceptable. A big deterrent. Any other server is usually fine and kind. I enjoy sitting at the bar for better service when I can.Recently dined in for a holiday and it seemed the establishment was not well equipped to be serving people. The waitress would not allow my party to order food with drinks at the same time. Said drinks only then we waited 10 more minutes to be allowed to order food. One of the people I was with was not served her meal until 30 minutes after everyone else. A table with a large party next to us had a similar problem with one person not served their meal for about 40 minutes! Will not be coming back during a holiday at least.

Went here for our weekly date night on a Wednesday evening. Nice place with very good atmosphere. There was a piano player singing while we were there and some couples dancing.Server (Hector) was very attentive and didn't forget our additional requests.There's a separate dining area next to the bar area if you want it a little quieter. I like how the hostesses automatically sat groups around the outside of the dining area, knowing that most people don't like to sit in the middle.Probably best to stick with bar food. They offer more "upscale" options - which is commendable - but maybe should keep it simple.Seems like a lot of regular locals frequent this place - maybe we will join their ranks!
