Pizza and it's sauce very tasty. The crust fresh from taste to the end. Well worth the wait as the service members assure you that you will not be disappointed. I thank the guy who told my wife that this place has the best pizza in town. I will definitely bring back a pie to Detroit. The place wasn't bad with the crowd either the wait really wasn't that bad. That is all Chief Sometimes some ones advice can be the truth or your downfall

The best pizza I ever tasted. Freshly made when you order it. Delicious food and kind service. They only accept cash.

One important note: THEY ONLY TAKE CASH. NO GOOGLE/APPLE PAY. Other than the payment inconvenience, the food and service is good. Ordered a large pizza half tomato & cheese and half white pizza. The edges were slightly burnt but the pizza was delicious. The crust was chewy, the bottom not soggy, there was enough ricotta and mozzarella cheese. The tomato & cheese pizza was good too. The tomato sauce tasted fresh. We also got their fried calamari which was good too.

With Brooklyn Brookoven Pizza, it's really hit or miss when you're going to the Edgewater location, Considerably inferior to that Hackensack location which is always fantastic. This is the hit or miss and I mean hit or miss it could be good service could be horrible service the other day. My wife and I went there at 8:40. They close at nine and they wouldn't seat us and we go there all the time and never tip less than 20%. Sometimes the pizzas undercooked , doughy overpriced. If you decide on a topping once you enter the topping world you're a pizza price increases by 39%and sometimes it's good but it's never great like Hackensack. Most disappointing is the take out. They definitely do not put any love and caring to the take out as two of the last three times I got to take out they screwed it up and of course charged heavily, even though they forgot the topping. I don't have anything personally against a People, but washing the interaction between the workers and busboys and the management. You could see they are not the kind of people you want to work for and that's not because they demand quality.

Pizza is delicious. The sauce is tasty, and cheese is tastes fresh. I usually get the Margherita pie. They do not deliver and only accept cash. Worth the hassle.

I love this place with some nostalgia as my family would go here on many occasions in the past, however recently I went there and it was just as good as I remember. The Pizza has that charcoal crust flavor that is just amazing. The Price for the Pizza is reasonable. the Appetizers are great, especially their fried mozzarella which is 1 of 2 places in this area that makes it that way. I had their typical tomato and mozzarella pizza(Margarita pizza) and it was outstanding in terms of quality.Hopefully I get to bring some friends here in a few weeks, The only downside is they only accept cash which does make it a bit harder to go there. But I'll say personally it is worth it.

What a great pizza spot. The pies are also huge so the price point is better than others around. Great style pizza... the regular was very tasty, but the white pie gave me a run for my money. I'm normally not a white pie kinda guy, but there is a unique technique used here. They put garlic spread on top of the dough then the cheese goes on top... so basically it's garlic bread meets pizza. What a great tasty idea! Also got two orders of calamari, because I was told each order is very tiny... and it was tiny, but the price for each was not tiny at all. It was super delicious, very tender for pizza store style calamari. I would say it's better than any restaurant I've had lately. I just hope this wasn't a fluke, but again the price for each order makes you really think if you are going to splurge on side calamari with great pizza.

Not too many pizzerias to choose from in Edgewater but this place looked authentic so decided to give it a try. Had the white pizza and the fried raviolis. The pizza didn't disappoint, the crust was crisp, ricotta was nice and creamy, and just a hint of garlic that didn't take away the essence of the pizza. I can probably eat the whole pizza in one sitting if I wanted to. Fried raviolis were bit below expectations and the reason for 4 stars. Just not enough stuffing inside. Perhaps I should have gotten the fried mozzarella. But I would definitely come back for the pizza again, a fantastic find.

My friends have been recommending this place and I finally got to try it - lived up to the hype! Pizza had a nice, crisp thin crust. The white pie was garlicky and creamy- yum. The red sauce had a good balance of acid and sweetness and right tomato pie texture. I like that they use fresh slices of mozzarella cheese. All the toppings tasted really fresh. We also had the fried ravioli - it was good not great, but I'd get it again. The antipasto platter was better than the house salad, but both come with delicious marinated mushrooms that make the plate. BYO, plenty of parking and efficient service. Got busy on a Friday night, so we were glad we came early and didn't have to wait for a table.

Used to be good. Came under new management. New staff. Absolutely awful. Took my family here. There is a water ban currently and they served my family drinks with tap water ice. That is against health code. Found something in my daughters drink and when I addressed it, they could care less. When I asked for a booster seat for child, they brought out a dirty one . Food not good quality compared to years back. Most of all we could deal with food but service was awful and I never complain.

The pizza is amazing. I got the jalapeño and pepperoni pizza. The best pizza in town. I did takeout and it was still so good when I got home. I only gave this establishment 4 stars because they're cash only. In 2022, all places should take card.

No pizza is memorable. They’re a dime a dozen. But this place; I WILL remember this for the rest of my life. HOLY S**T this place was great!!!!!

The food, atmosphere, price and the service. The perfect place for family. We ordered the antipasto salad, large pizza with pepperoni on half the pizza, penne pasta with italian sauage and tarfuto for desert. It was one of the best food I have ever had since I moved here in NJ from Brooklyn 3 years ago. Very, very delicious. The atmosphere here is very relaxing and comfortable. Service was very attentive. This place is a jam. It will be a go to place for our family.

We have been coming here for years. We get the white pizza with sausage, marinara sauce on the side, and calamari. The food is consistently good, as is the service. Cash only.
