This is an excellent restaurant. If weather permits ask to be seated outside, the view, especially at night, is outstanding. We had the Filet Mignon and the Chilean Bass, both superb. Service was effective and professional. The place is expensive though.

It was our anniversary and I called ahead to reserve a table indoor but with a good view. Once we arrived we used the valet parking and it was a breeze. Inside, the manager acknowledged our anniversary and seated us by the window (wonderful view!). We had to bring our daughter as well, and she has a cheese issue and the chef was amazing to accommodate it. I had a mango margarita and it was delicious. The place is upscale and quiet. I saw many families at the outdoor tables and my daughter joked they keep them outside for the screams. The food was divine. I had the buttata appetizer and it was so good. My husband had the oysters and he commented my appetizer was better. Then we had the filet mignon with roasted potatoes and mashed lobster potatoes. Both dishes very good. The dessert was outstanding. Delicious apple cobbler, chocolate mousse so airy and my crème brûlé was also delicious. Definitely pleased with everything.

Unfortunately IA rainy day. Valet parking kept us dry but the rain and overcast spoiled what should have been a spectacular view of the Waterfront and NYC. The bar area is excellent. Staff were friendly and responsive coat check, seating , taking drink and food orders. We had 13 people at our table and the staff provided excellent service.

Haven has been my favorite restaurant since it opened. The food, the view, and the service were excellent. I took two associates for lunch today and was very dissappointed. Maybe I should not have ordered short ribs for lunch. It was two pieces of dry stringy meat covered in A1 type sauce. One piece was almost all fat. The other two entrees were OK. For sure last nights left over with sauce. Even the super good dessert and coffee did not compensate. I was wondering if ownership and/or chef has changed. It is a shame to see; a restaurant go down so drastically

I had to delete my entire review because I wasn’t able to edit it! We dined here for our daughter’s birthday, looked like a great place, water views, nice atmosphere, supposedly great food. Well, let me start by saying our server was excellent, the appetizers were great, but the entrees were so so, even one of the pricey sides ( lobster mac and cheese), was definitely sitting under a heat lamp lol! The thing that pissed me off the most- 2 Johnnie Walker Blacks, on the rocks-19.00 each, that I have no problem with, but to have the cojones to charge 2.00 each drink for ice! I assure you, we will not return as even New York restaurants don’t have the balls to do that.

HAVEN is overall a great choice in the area for American/Seafood. I give this a Very Good rating solely based on the food, service, and its place on the waterfront; the atmosphere certainly needs work.

We chose this restuarant for the view and it surpassed our expectations. We were mainly coming for the view and hoped for decent food and service. So many times, a place with a view is only that. The view, of course, is lovely. Wonderful seating outside, but even inside, the restaurant is bright and has beautiful view of the skyline and East River. But the service and food were what ended up standing out. The manager came over to check how our meal was and our waitress, Karina, was so attentive and sweet. All of the staff was friendly. And the food was wonderful. We started with the calamari--which was unlike any calamari I have ever and the colossal shrimp cocktail which were enormous and delicious. For our main entrees, we had the shirt steak with chimichurri sauce--so nicely prepared, tender and tasty; and the grilled shrimp and burrata linguini with mushrooms and heirloom tomatoes which was beautifully presented and delicious. We ended with the warm brownie with white chocolate mousse, vanilla gelato, toffee and peanuts; I said I'd only have a bite and then devoured it. It was large enough for 4 people to share. We would definitely return. This is a perfect place to go with out of town guests or for a special celebration. What a nice surprise!

This would not be our weekly dine out restaurant, but definitely a top choice for a special occasion. Beautiful location and decor, good food and drinks, attentive service, we had a great time and we'll be back.

No phone number. No menu. No online presence whatsoever. Yet, when you drive by their sign says open for business. I called the the online number and it goes to some general voice-mail for a company completely different than Carribean Edge.

We were visiting our daughter in NJ. Wanting to invite a friend who lives in Ft. Lee, we found this marvelous place nearer her home. Being a DFW resident, it seemed far from Franklin Lakes, but it was all worth the drive. The views were great and must be outstanding in the evening. Service was impeccable though we were the only customers for the first half hour. The food was great. We had calamari and beet for starters and seared salmon, grilled shrimp, etc. A bit pricey but definitely would be back.
