Prompt attentive service, food, well, prepared and good tasting and authentic Asian ambience. It reminds me of our favorite Japanese restaurant in Singapore, Sushi Tei.

My fiancé and I went here on a rainy Saturday night. We loved it and will definitely be back! It's all you can eat at $36 a person. I think it was well worth the price for this area because it includes any appetizers you want, a huge variety of rolls, special rolls, sushi, dessert, and more. We've lived on the border of Hoboken for 6 years and have never been thrilled with the sushi options here. Everything is very expensive and the quality is underwhelming. We are so happy we've found our new sushi spot! We each had miso soup, spicy seaweed salad, and shrimp tempura to start. All very good. The tempura batter is delicious. Then we got the Hawaiian roll, shrimp tempura roll, Loch Ness roll, spicy tuna, spicy crab, salmon avocado, and yellow tail scallion. We finished with strawberry ice cream. Everything was delicious and fresh. We were extremely full. It all came out very fast too. Service was awesome. Atmosphere was quiet and calming. The place is kept very clean. Overall a lovely experience and we look forward to our next visit!

As a ayce place, its not good but not bad either. I wanted to like it, but the quality just wasnt there. The rice was not "sushi", meaning it was mushy and did not have the sweet vinegar taste. Rolls fell apart as we picked the pieces up. The sashimi didnt taste fresh and were cut into big blocks and you could taste that its from thawed. Aside from the food, the service was very nice and decor was cute inside.

Sushi not fresh. Tasted waterlogged, like frozen & defrosted. Staff was not to friendly. I asked for water. Brought out a glass with cool water & no ice. Not impressed at all. Last time we go there. THAT WAS MY FATHERS DAY DINNER! What a disappointed. Should've stayed home & BBQ.

YES YES YES-My, Wife, and three kids love this place. I promise you that it is impossible to find any sushi ? is good, as fresh ? ? as delicious as this place. There is a fancier place next door that you can try if you really love cold, refrigerator pre-made sushi ? lol. This place here, their sushi, is the best. This is the address below if it shows a different name on Google Maps.1086 river road edge water nj 07020.I have been to many different dine ? in hunting good sushi ? throughout nj, and this one was the best by far ?. Most places may be upscale and fancy, but this place puts all the good works and time in the freshness of their sushi ?Vegetarian options: Just askKid-friendliness: Kids friendlyParking: There is lots of free parking on the street acrossWheelchair accessibility: Yes

If you don't care about quality and you're a power eater I guess this is the place for you. The All You Can Eat option will satisfy that requirement. When I was there, they attempted to pass off smoked salmon for salmon sashimi. A simple small rice roll with spicy tuna was dried out and uneditable. It was something they made in mass earlier and left it out. They have all types of large rolls to cater to those power eaters however the quality of the contents are dubious.Typically the more spices put on and around sushi often correlates to old fish you wouldn't eat otherwise. The decor looks like an expanded cheap Chinese takeout place rather than a restaurant. Given the price, there are far nicer places to dine, both Chinese and Japanese, in the vicinity. Finally the name of the restaurant is not Takama. That place died years ago. The name is FuXingMei sushi.

By far the #1 restaurant for all you can eat sushi. Love this place! The sushi tastes very fresh everytime we come. We try to make it a point to try a new roll everytime; we've practically tried almost everything they have on the menu. The two ladies that work there are always super friendly and attentive. They have a lot of options for starters and many different special sushi rolls. To start we always get the kani salad, seaweed salad, pork & vegetable gyoza, sweet potato, chicken and shrimp tempura, and steak hibachi. Our favorite special rolls are the Angry Dragon, Hawaii, Hot Dragon, Crazy Tuna, Valentine and many more. They also have the option to have sashimi (a lot of all you can eat places don't have this). I've ordered delivery twice before as well and it was great. My family, friends and I are regulars here and we will continue to come whenever we are craving sushi! Parking: They always have street parking right outside.

Food is good and price is right. Sushi are delicious and fresh. The down side is the interior needs an upgrade.

I planned on eating dinner here with my family and as soon as we walked in we could smell a weird, wet mop smell. Moreover, right by the bathroom next to the fridge they keep drinks was a glue trap for either roaches or mice. I left right away.

Amazing. Quiet and clean little spot. The food was extremely fresh and tasty. I'm surprised at how quickly everything came out. The beef teriyaki was tender and the sushi was out of this world good. Made with lots of love. The service was great also. Very welcoming.

This used to be called fu xing mi. it was amazing before. I think it's still the same people with a different name, the quality is still stellar. The service is great, very accommodating. To me it's much better than the all you can eat place down the street, at about the same price. The hot foods quality is excellent, and all you can eat sashimi.
