Todays bombay blues advance reservation experience seems little illegal, we had 24 people reservation and they mandated $800 becz if they get table of 4 or 5 it will give them $800 busines, well i dont see anyone making such demands in restaurants when u have Alacarta menus, i understand restaurants wants to be optimistic of same amt of business but its not guranteed, this info should be taken seriously as we customers are bearing the expense for such demands.

We live nearby and decided to give this place a try. We ordered Peshwari kababs, not only they passed off some basic kababs but it wasn't even made in clay oven as mentioned on the menu. It also came within 2 mins of us ordering. Murg kaali mirch was average. Laccha paratha was barely a laccha. Only the Goan prawns were OK. Both my husband and I are from Delhi, we know our kababs well :) The only interesting element was the Amitabh Bachhan graffiti on the walll.

Food is okay. , service and atmosphere is also not bad. Lots of noise. But 18% automatic gratuity on table of 2 and above, thats total rip-off. Gratuity should be chosen by the customer not by the business. Many other good restaurants around here. Not recommended.

Highly recommend this place! Easily the best Indian food I've had in Jersey. Came all the way from Toronto to celebrate my great grandmother's 99th birthday and the entire staff truly went above and beyond to make the experience amazing. Aside from the food being absolutely delicious, everyone was extremely attentive and food was served very quickly with no compromise on quality whatsoever.Highly recommend!

Portions are very less compared to Prices. Sofa seating is very uncomfortable because of double sided seating.

Vegetarian options: Many option of vegetarian but most important. If you have senior in your company who doesn’t like the smell of it. It’s perfect for them as you don’t smell any food( specially non veg smell ) only great fresh air and good atmosphere. Staff was good. Food was so good that all of us was blown away by the flavors. Every items was unique taste not typical stuffed which you find in every other restaurants with onion and garlic.Sure will return to try other dishes. Keep the good energy and hard work.

Dining at Bombay Blue was an experience that exceeded our expectations, catering remarkably to our diverse needs and preferences. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance of the restaurant set a welcoming tone for our large group, with its warm lighting and tastefully chosen music adding a cozy, vibrant atmosphere that made our evening even more enjoyable. What truly stood out was the restaurant’s exceptional accommodation for vegan diners. The staff’s knowledge about the ingredients in their dishes was impressive, ensuring that everyone in our party, regardless of dietary restrictions, could enjoy a delicious meal without concern. This level of service and attention to detail is commendable and made us feel genuinely cared for.The quality of the food at Bombay Blue was nothing short of fantastic. We indulged in a variety of dishes, including flavorful sizzlers, richly spiced curries, and perfectly cooked rotis. Each dish was a testament to the chef’s expertise in blending traditional Indian flavors with a touch of innovation. Although we were too full to try the vegan dessert option, its availability was appreciated and noted for future visits. Moreover, the service throughout our meal was impeccable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and quick to accommodate any requests we had, ensuring our dining experience was seamless from start to finish. In conclusion, Bombay Blue is a gem of a restaurant that masterfully combines excellent food, a beautiful setting, and outstanding service. It’s a place that not only caters to the taste buds but also to the comfort and diverse dietary needs of its patrons. Whether you’re a group of friends, family, or someone looking for a delightful culinary experience, Bombay Blue is a destination that promises to deliver satisfaction.
