A new restaurant located in the ever so busy hmart complex. We love poke so we were eager to try this out. They are similar to other poke places where you can build your own bowl or just order one of their signature bowls. I opted for the signature salmon bowl. At first glance, the bowl was packed with items. But once I started eating, I noticed there really wasn't much salmon. The pieces were very small and there was way more rice than needed. My husband's order was the same in regards to his tuna. The price for the signature bowl, $13.50, was the same price as a build your own bowl with 2 proteins yet we feel like we should have received 2 portions of the protein although it was the same protein. That was our one and only gripe. I would go with the build you own bowl next time and pass on the signature bowls. The interior is nicely decorated and very clean. Parking is an issue on weekends and Friday nights.

Ever since my friend and I first saw that the Hmart plaza was getting a poke bowl spot, we were dying to check it out. We finally got the chance to visit tonight and try the food. We went around 8:30 and had the place to ourselves. Right off the bat, I was very impressed by how clean the store was. There’s plenty of seating and the interior is quite aesthetic. There are bathrooms at the back of the store, where it connects to Mango Mango (something to take note of if you want to get dessert after). There weren’t any kiosks, so you had to order at the front (as an introvert this scared me a lot). I customized my bowl and it’s similar to how you order at Chipotle — you pick a base, protein, toppings, sauce, and you get free miso soup (which was a bit salty but I won’t complain about free food!). I also really liked how they had clear labels for all the ingredients, which made it super easy to order. Our food was not bad. I liked how we can customize our bowl and get a variety of different flavors, but I felt the balance of rice to fish to toppings was off. There was too much rice and not enough protein or sauce for my personal taste so it ended up a little bland in some bites (I also had a lot of rice left over). Overall though, I really enjoyed the visit and recommend you try this spot out for yourself.

The place looks nice with a few small tables to eat in. The poke bowl is ok. The white rice is just plain white rice, no rice vinegar. Made an online order for 3 protein bowl, only got 2, when I called they said they ran out of one so added more of the others but they failed to mention that when I was picking up. They also didn't put in the masago that I ordered.

This place is great, they just opened and are running a Buy One Bowl, Get the Second 50% Off special.Build your own poke bowl style with a huge variety of toppings and additions to choose, and no limit on what you can add. The only extra charge is for avocado.Seating is limited but fine, would recommend! Pricing was good especially with the deal, one bowl comes out to around $12. Employees are very helpful!

Ciao Poke just had their official opening Feb 2 and I’m happy to say it’s a great new poke place! It operates like a standard poke chain with custom bowls or burritos(up to 3 proteins). The toppings variety is huge so there are a lot of customizable options. The protein portions are on the smaller side but they do a good job of mixing the sauce into the fish so that it’s more flavorful.I’ll be visiting again!

This place recently opened next to the Hmart and Kura plaza in Edison. Walking in the place looks super clean and has a very modern vibe. It's connected to Mango Mango from the back part of the shop. There's plenty of seating. Today I came after work and I was greeted with a smile as we ordered our rice bowls. I requested my two proteins, the worker put one of my proteins out in a plastic bowl and was stingy with the pieces. He practically gave me like 5 pieces of fish. Compared to my husband who had a female worker and she did a great job and gave him a decent amount of fish and rice. I hope the owner sees this and knows that being cheap with the fish will only drive the clients away.. I did see someone else mentioned this on their yelp review. Instead of using an extra plastic bowl to mix, use that money to supply more fish or retrain the staff and let them know that this only pushes people away. All in all I would come back and re-do my review only if I can get a decent amount of fish on my bowl. The food is good and I was very happy with the free miso soup that we got.

I got two hand rolls and a miso soup. A great pairing. They really loaded up on the sashimi. Cool atmosphere with lots of space to chill with friends. Service was great and very friendly. Since this is near other restaurants, it does get crowded during weekends and Fridays. Would recommend carpooling.

This poke place just opened up in the HMart plaza, next to Kura and Lua. The interior looks clean and the decor is very modern and relaxing. As with other poke places, you choose what you want in your bowl/burrito and go down the line of toppings. There's a large variety of toppings to choose from, which feature items that I don't usually see at a poke place, such as white tuna, yellowtail, beets, hijiki, and shiitake mushrooms. The service is fast and friendly. I ordered a bowl with tuna and salmon, which comes with a cup of miso soup. The poke/fish portion was pretty small imo, but that's just what's standard at these poke places ;-; the bowl is pretty much a salad with some poke in it. I got the classic poke sauce and with the toppings, I'd say it was pretty flavorful, so it beats some other places in that regard.
