They're under new management and I couldn't be happier. Great people, great food. This is such a good local spot and my go to often. I've been coming here for awhile now and now that they're under new management it seems they're even better. Good quality has improved and they now offer more options like jalebis! Super cool. Highly recommend.

The lady seems nice. Ive ordered and i waited outside for my order to be prepared. I was disappointed with the food. I had the beef sandwich: I won't recommend as it was 95 % lettuce in big chunks. 5% of " beef" that was tasteless minced meat, too much garlic/mayonnaise sauce . Had burning sensation in my throat after eating that. The packing was nice though. In a box ;)

Great food, ordered the double beef cheeseburger with chicken nuggets. Service was excellent. Place is clean and staff is friendly. Would highly recommend!

The business no longer takes online orders. If the woman who works there answers the phone, just hang up. Everything on my order was wrong and it seems she was rushing me on the phone. I will have to find a new halal place.

found a long piece of hair in the chicken platter, at least a foot long. called the store to complain. Guy at store said "I don't know"...I said it was a foot long hair in the food, he said "nobody here has hair longer than an inch". Instead of apologizing, he just kept saying "I don't know". He did offer for me to bring it back and exchange it, but I had it Uber Eats delivered, so that would have defeated the point. Not once did they say sorry, or offer to take my name and give me a store credit or anything. Better check your food if you buy from here.

Based on what I've tried, I'd probably give this a 2.5 to be honest but the other menu items look good. I had a paneer kathi roll and a potato kathi roll. Both lacked flavor especially the potato one, which was so bland that I threw it out. The chutney and white sauce are good although I wasn't expecting to see white sauce inside the roll. I'd skip the kathi rolls but I want to try the falafel next time. I ordered a falafel sandwich once on Grubhub and they sent some meat platter and chicken - I'm vegetarian so I couldn't eat it. Not sure if it was the delivery driver or the restaurants fault but I was disappointed. Overall haven't had a good experience but will give it one more try for the falafel.
The Five stars is only for the chapli kebabs. This picture won't do justice but DUDE... these were the hands down, the most legit chapli kebabs i've had in the central jersey. the moisture, the spice, the heat, salt, flavor were simply what my foodie mouth has been craving for in a cold windy night, on my car seat!

So... never judge a dish by its cover. When I first opened the bag I thought there was too much sauce at first glance. Well, when I took my first fork full of rice with the sauce I realized it was just right. The sauce was really good and really went well with the rice and chicken. My wife thought the same (she had the falafel). They were pretty large servings. I really enjoyed the food and definitely recommend NJ Halal Bowls. You can expect more orders from me in the near future. PS. The Baklava didn't disappoint either.

Prices have risen significantly and amount of food you get is getting smaller. Food still tastes good.
