When we are in jersey either me and my wife or with friends, this is the go to spot. Food is amazing. Always fresh. Come here hungry because we will have plenty to eat!! Love this place. Service is great food is amazing. Long live Harolds king of the restaurant's!!
A pastrami sandwich at Katz or Sarge's will run you $30 dollars, and that's a small sandwich with no sides or soup. Velben effect makes people think their pastrami is better because its more $$, but I can barely tell the difference.Harolds with just as good pastrami at $30 can feed 2 people or 4 dieting New Yorkers. One of a kind deli restaurant. Don’t let the high prices scare you. You get a ton of food even with the smallest meals and you will take some home. I got the filet of flounder sandwich and there were three 8-inch breaded fried filets. I could eat too and took the rest home. Free pickle bar is delightful. Food is great and the staff is friendly, attentive, and professional. Got a delicious cheesecake to take home.
