Janice the manager was excellent in solving a problem and misunderstanding of our server. Still food came out out of order and honestly quality is just Ok . I will go to our Pvt owned Cuban restaurants in the area for better quality food at same price. Honestly 10 dollars for a bowl of chips and a Ramekin of guacamole was excessive. At end of night after problem with order resolved the itemized check was incorrect and needed to get that fixed too. Frustrated better small local Cuban places if that is what you're looking for.

The food is great and so is the atmosphere, but we went on a Friday night and the DJ was so loud that we could not even talk. If you want a nice restaurant where you can have a conversation at your table, this is NOT the place for you.

Food is authentic for a “franchise” type of restaurant. Ambience gives Miami vibes. Service is next level. They constantly check in with you during and after. Prices are very good for what you're getting. Definitely recommend.

This was their first Taco Tuesday. The tacos were very tasty. They could have been filled a little more. They did not have salsa, however our server brought 2 green sauces which gave the tacos the moisture they needed.

Firstly the hostess by far the rudest employee of this establishment! Arrived on time with a reservation, only to be told the wait is 20 minutes. She proceeded to explain with the biggest attitude that reservations and walk ins are “treated the same”. I asked to speak to the manager which was extremely helpful and apologetic. While waiting to be seated mojitos were made at the bar incorrectly. When we asked the bartender for simple syrup (one of the ingredients on the recipe for mojitos) he said we don't have that. Another bartender walking by says “yes we do”. The attitude from the bartender remaking the drink was insane. As if we were getting free drinks! Then he proceeds to let us know that he “wasn't our waiter”. We were seated and served by an amazing waiter which made the experience here a bit better. The icing on the cake was witnessing another waitress arguing with another manager right by us! In plain site of guests dinning! Our waiter did apologize for that but at this point we were over it. The food was good but the service definitely needs an upgrade!!

I made reservations online on 2/17 to celebrate my ladies birthday and requested a booth. I was placed at a table even though there were booths available. I had also advised in the notes that it was a birthday celebration and the staff did not accommodate my birthday request. This was highly disappointing though I told the front desk when I got there as well as my server about the birthday event. I was given the check and was completely confused when the staff did not come out to sing happy birthday so we just left. I wanted it to be a surprise for my lady. I am not sure what else I had to do. A memory down the drain. SMH!!!

The food was so delicious. We had the empanada sampler, which you can never go wrong with. We also had the Havana sampler that has pernil, ropa vieja and chicharrones de pollo. Everything was perfect. The pernil was particularly good. So we'll seasoned. You know how sometimes you get it other places and it's disappointing because it's bland? Not at Havana. I was very impressed!

I dined alone and though the server was very kind, there was a group of 20 across from me. I waited almost 40 minutes for my food. The group's food came out. Then, the server noticed mine hadn't come out yet. When it finally arrived, it was lukewarm and the beans were cold as though it had been sitting there while the group got served first. Disappointing.

We have always been to NY location, first time in NJ but deeply disappointed. Ordered a flight for drink, they were out of the stand for the flight, Mojito was missing a syrup; empanadas were cold inside (likely frozen before frying); the dinner order was messed up as two out of three items did not made to the kitchen (not sure how that happens). The dinner took close to 3 hrs because we were waiting more than 1hr to get our food. What do we get in return - an apology from the staff and 1 free desert. To that, I would say thank you and I will never return to this location.

This place has steadily gone downhill these past few years. Our server was fantastic but in our most recent visits the food seems to have become very bland. Very disappointing and we won't be going back. Spent almost $200 in dinner for three with no appetizers, one additional side and only one round of alcoholic drinks. The drinks, Maduros, and black beans were delicious but the entrees were lacking in seasoning and flavor.

I went on a Wednesday for my birthday our host was fantastic, but it took quite a while before we received our food. This was at 2 in the afternoon. The food was good, but when your wait is more than 30 min a free appetizer or something should be offered. The guest I brought scanned to become members, with this comes an appetizer up to 12.50, when we tried to order we were told the policy had recently changed and it would be given on their next visit. I had just been there the week before. Anyway, because the food is good I would and did recommend to others.

The drinks we order was mango margarita was very sour , passion fruit flavor margarita taste like a regular lime margarita and the pitcher of margarita was expensive . took so long for the appetizer and main dish to arrive , there's not even a placemat on the table . Table looks old and dirty , 1 serving plate at the start was really dirty . The food was okey . The place itself was nice esp the outside view and very accessible but overall it did not met my expectation.

We think the hostess could have done a much better job with sitting customers ad we really disliked the location of our table. It was so tide that we had to move our table to accommodate another table of five. I can't recall how many times people pushed my chair during dinner when they walked by. And the food was unimpressive this time, unlike our last visit. The rice was so mushy and the sweet plantain was hard. It was a disappointing experience and we won't be back.
