Not sure what the low rating is about but i enjoyed my time at kuraService was good we got sat down right away on a tuesday and were explained how things workOrdered miso soup which came on a fast top belt which comes directly to table - you can also have fresh made to order sushi. Drinks come on a robot. It could have some lights or sound if you get too close i almost ran in to itMiso soup was a bit too salty. The sushi was good there was a good variety with some premium options and interesting flavors. Sure it doesnt beat the restaurant but remember you are paying for convenience and speed.Ordered 21 plates for two and bill was about $100. Didnt get dessert so expect to pay around 50-75 per person to get fullEverything is clean and the restaurant is well organizedPretty much everything is done automatically even the check. Tipping is not required but i did leave a small tip since there was some personal service. These automated restaurants are pretty cool if you want something quick and easy and if you dont want to deal with people!Download app for points - enjoy the future of dining!

Ive been wanting to come here for the experience! But always heard abt the long wait time. However, thank god they opened several locations since and we came on a Friday evening with a party of 3! We got seated almost immediately. Service was good, waitress/waiter came by to check on us often. Super cool that the robot brings u ur drinks but it does a bad job lol spilling ur drinks all over the tray before it gets to u. The sushi is mediocre, there were a few hit or miss. We found it freshest when u order the sushi u want thru the tablet at ur table. All the salmon sushi was good, with ponzu, dashi, seared with japanese mayo, scallops were good also. I didnt bother too much with the rolls (i dont have a big thing for rolls and it gets u full quicker), didnt care for the beef or eel. Who goes to sushi spots to eat the beef or eel? Haha Its also pretty cool u get to do a plate count and win snoopy prizes. Theyre small items but my son enjoyed collecting them! Overall, good experience, would come back if we had more people and definitely come hungry! Parking lot available and theres so many other places in the same lot, bubble tea, dessert spots etc!

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to dine on a cyber-dystopian production line? This is it.The food is bad. The kitchen staff can be seen assembling sushi fast food style and slapping it on the rubber belt to be zipped over to you as you order it on the little touch screen menu that is only accessible to two flexible members of your party (yes, you will need to dictate your order to whoever gets seated at the conveyer belt side of the table, and they will need to pass all the plates out).At least you save money by cutting out waitstaff though, right? Not quite. This place is expensive. And there are waitstaff; seemingly overworked, under motivated, and apparently confused people trying to fill in the gaps left by their robot superiors. Is there any upside? This is fun for children and child-like adults. If you enjoy Chuck-E-Cheese for dinner out, or feel like Dave ‘n Busters would be better if it had less entertainment and served worse food, this might be a fun occasional thing just for the novelty.Androids may dream of electric sheep, but they have nightmares of Kura Revolving Sushi Bar.Kid-friendliness: This place only works because it rewards children for spending their parents money with little cartoons (that interrupt the menu) and tiny plastic balls with tiny plastic things in them.

The sushis are not bad. Also a lot depends on where you sit as some sushis are gone before they reach you in the belt. Water serving robot is cool.

Kura Sushi's innovative conveyor belt sushi concept make for a delightful dining experience, especially with kids. My son loves watching the conveyor belt, finding his favorite sushi and it out of the tray. The diverse menu offers fresh and flavorful dishes, with an added convenience of ordering through a touchscreen. Highly recommended for a fun and memorable sushi outing.Parking: With the popularity of the shopping center, parking is extremely difficult to find.

This is the second location I’ve gone to on my road trip. The food is delicious. Prices were a little higher than the first location in Virginia. We didn’t wait long for a table, less than 5 minutes.Kid-friendliness: My kids love putting plates in the slot to watch the animation on the screen.

A fun place for sushi lovers. You pay by the plate and if you don't see a plate you like pass you by, you can use the digital picture menu to order what you want. Food is sent to you above the carousel and drinks come via an automated "waiter". You check in and out on computer screens. Kids love it. You can win cartoons and toys if you eat enough.

I dined at Kura in Edison NJ along with my teenager for the first time. Upon arrival the wait time on the tablet said approximately 35 minutes. We ended up waiting over an hour and half. Finally we were seated. Conveyer belt concept was different and pretty cool. Sushi was just ok. Not the worst but it was nothing impressive. Now comes the WORST part of my experience. While still sitting there I began to feel nauseous. Something didn't sit right. I had to stop twice on my ride home. Once I got home I vomited and it continued all night. It was so bad that I considered going to the hospital. My first experience here was the worst I ever had at any new restaurant. Pains me to spend $70 on food that made me extremely sick.

The food was a little bland. The sushi is just fine but I did enjoy the crispy rice. I will agree that the service is a little slower but they absolutely do not ignore you and are so kind. Restaurant was pretty cramped so I can’t say much for the atmosphere really.

Great time as always, good food, friendly service and ambience. I ordered a beef udon and several pieces of sushi. I would have given it a five star but the lights to the conveyor belt wasn't working so I couldn't see the food clearly.

Kura is one of my favorite sushi restaurants. You pick out your sushi from a conveyor belt and win cute prizes. There is a robot that serves drinks. This time I got the chirashi Valentine's Day bowl - it came in this hexagon-shaped box - fish was yummy. Overall the whole place was super fun and futuristic! The service is great - the waiters are super accommodating! It can get crowded during the weekends so I'd recommend using their app to get on the waitlist.
