Food is very good, they should hire more staff. 2 people behind counter were working hard, but not enough hands to keep up with the demand.

They are located on the food court inside Menlo Park mall. Perfect classic grilled cheese and tater tots. Good customer service.

Dropped by here prior to a movie at the nearby theater. Had never seen or heard of the place and given the menu, I knew my brother and I would enjoy it. Didn't take long for us to pinpoint the Buffalo chicken mac and cheese which was a nice portion with nice proportions of chicken to all the other goodness in there. Not crazy spicy so if you don't like a ton of heat, this works. I also got the tater Tots which were good and my brother raves about their Nutella shake! Located in the food court, I highly recommend especially if you want to give your typical mall food joints a break.

Love this place! Everything on the menu is great. My favorite is the Mike's hot honey Mac & Cheese. Great customer service always!

The hot honey chicken sandwich is the star of the show. My boyfriend ordered it and I had a bite, it was so good that I considered stealing it from him and over an hour after we had eaten, we were still thinking about it. I had ordered the Korean BBQ sandwich and while it was good and exactly what you would expect, it just wasn't my taste preferences but, if that's the type of flavor you generally like, you'll enjoy it. We also had an order of the hot honey mac and cheese, and that was very good as well. The hot honey sauce is much sweeter than expected though, more sweet than hot overall. The portions were great; the sandwiches were huge and very filling. The fries were also really good.

I wanted to try something different than my usual when I go to the food court. So I decided to try The Melt Shop. I advised the cashier that it was my first time and asked if the sandwiches came with fries. No was the response. Against my better judgment, I decided to spend the almost $12 for the Spicy Crispy Mac Melt. While flavorful, it was underwhelming. The macroni and cheese was lukewarm. I don't recall seeing the pimento cheese at all and there were only two - half pieces of the cherry peppers. To make matters worse, I look over to a family who bought Chick-Fil-A sandwiches. The breast was whole and they had fries. Total waste of money. For ~$12, you need to either give customers a full chicken breast or add fries and a drink. I want to come back but probably won't. You have 3 stars because in theory, the sandwich works and your workers are friendly. #disappointed

This was my first time here and I got the MIke's Hot Honey Bun chicken sandwich (crispy chicken, cheddar, jalapeño pimento cheese, and hot honey on a brioche bun) and herbed parmesan fries. The food was very hot and fresh when I received it (I ate half and took the rest home and it was still hot when I arrived!). I really enjoyed the chicken sandwich - it was a bit messy to eat because of the honey, but the slight heat and sweetness from it combined well with the chicken and cheese. I couldn't really taste the jalapeño pimento as much as I would've liked, but the flavors were very good overall. Only docking a star because I wasn't a huge fan of the fries. I'd prefer them saltier or with more flavor, and I didn't get that, even with the small bit of herbed parmesan sprinkled on top. I will say they seemed to be good quality and they were good with ketchup and dipping sauces, just not as much on their own. Overall I would come back here for this sandwich and to try the other stuff on their menu. The food was good and cooked well, made fresh, and was of good quality, especially for a food court. I'm a huge fan of chicken sandwiches and I'd pick this place over Chick-fil-a any day!

Had the Nashville hot tenders, with hot honey sauce and it was Delicious ! Walked right past this place so many times but I'm happy I finally tried it, definitely will be back.

Had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. It was not spicy at all, the sandwich was salty, lots of grease- not even the good kind that was supposed to be from the chicken that's dowsed in oil. Just no love in the food man... bottled water was also 2.35 tf

I soooo look forward to returning here and trying more items from the menu. My boyfriend & I decided to swing by the food court to pick-up good mood food for Valentine's day and this was a winner. We're always apprehensive about trying new things, and just stick to what we know to avoid disappointments. I'm glad we came here, he had the Korean BBQ & I had the cheeseburger with cheesy tots. Easy to say both were so good we didn't even catch photos until after a few bites in. Food was fresh and very tasty.

Tried this place for the first time as this has been in my list for the longest time. I have to say I'm slightly disappointed. The soup was good and reminded of Sam's club organic tomato soup. The grilled cheese was not fantastic fantastic. It's what you would call a grilled cheese sandwich which you would make at home on a white bread. I was assuming they would use different selection of breads or some other technique. For the price, I rather make it at home. Just my honest opinion.

Wow I was really pleasantly surprised with this place! When you're in this big ol' food court having a hard time deciding what to eat I definitely recommend Melt Shop. I had never heard of it but I'm so glad I tried it out. The chicken tenders are huge, crispy, and warm. They definitely use fresh ingredients. I was wondering why they only had 4 tender or 3 tender meal options and it's because the tenders are the size of a dinosaur leg. The Buffalo Mac and cheese was good too but their Buffalo sauce had blue cheese in it & I'm a blue cheese hater so I probably wouldn't get it again. I recommend the chipotle mayo instead. The service was really nice as well. It's a little on the pricier side kind of like Chick-fil-A but you're paying for that Qual-it-Y.

They are seriously the best crew I've ever interacted with. The food is so good too! I have my store hooked on melt shop, and when guests ask me what's good in this mall I say go to melt shop!!! They know me as a regular customer and if my order looks "not normal" they'll call to make sure I didn't make a mistake! I'm so impressed with the management and the employees. You have a great team here!

Happily surprised!! I wanted chicken strips, but didn’t want to pay the Popeye’s price for the meal. I was shocked and amazed at how much more meat and flavor the tenders are at the Melt Shop. The price was affordable and the portion size is bigger
