One of the best Chinese takeout place in Edison. Ordered takeout with them for 4-5 times now, their fried rice never disappointed us, all the meat dishes are full of flavor too. They also have a healthy menu, which is good for my daughter cause she on a diet. Highly recommend New Edison Wok to those looking for tasty Chinese food.

My favorite Chinese food take out if I’m getting Chinese it’s from here. I love this spot and I’m sad I haven’t been able to go in a while as I’m trying to cut salt out. Their half chicken fried rice with hot sauce over the chicken and rice ? it’s heavenly. Their shrimp eggrolls are delicious. The shrimp and lobster sauce is so perfect like if I wasn’t eating low sodium I would come here weekly. They are all very kind as well! Also a ps my fav item ever is the vegetable soup omg I can’t say enough how much I love their vegetable soup! I promise you get the vegetable soup it’s perfection and lovely. I might have to come here soon and take a salt cheat day just to get vegetable soup and some shrimp egg rolls ??

The half chicken is so fresh and tender. This is the only Chinese store. I like to go to glad I moved to Edison . I can finally eat Chinese food is not greasy just right thumbs up five star. only thing is that the egg foo young gravy, needs a little more season.

Have ordered several times-food was good and service friendly and pleasant. My husband placed an order last night-got it home and found they have given me rice instead of noodles. Called and had bad connection. Took the order back and was told we had ordered incorrectly-I could get a side order of noodles if I paid for them. We'll choose another restaurant next time.

I like to go here on my way home from work. It's fast, convenient and prices are low. It's small but they do have a few tables so you can eat there too. I have always had a good meal. If you pay by credit card and it's under a certain amount they do tack on a small fee but that's normal and it's really not bad. I'd recommend.

The food is just OK it's very bland. One of the items we ordered was chicken and broccoli. We pay the extra two dollars for extra meat and we only got a total of three pieces of broccoli it was the large order and it had very little sauce. They also did not give us any white rice. They do not give fortune cookies unless you pay for them. I will say that it's very clean, but they have a very young child answering the phone. He is very polite, but Should not be working in a Chinese restaurant when I called them to complain about the broccoli and no white rice he was the one that answered the phone and was very baffled and put two other people on the phone. My problem is not resolved.

Been ordering from them 2-4x per week for quite a while now. Usually they're a bit on point but sometime last week I was starving and put an order in. Normally they deliver within 30-40 minutes but an hour twenty minutes goes by and no update/call/anything. I reached out to them and they said they would call the driver -- another 10-15 minutes go by and no update or delivery. I reach back out again and tell them I'm going to get food elsewhere if they have no updated for me because I had not ate since before noon. She places me on hold and I said they would have to discount something or I'm going to turn the food away -- after waiting on hold for another 5 minutes, the driver shows up at my door and took $2 off. No apology for the delays or anything. The least they could do is take accountability - I've been ordering with them long enough that every person who picks up the phone there already knows what I'm going to order. To treat a regular that way is unacceptable.After 4-5 days, I tried giving them a call to put in an order and I thought I had a phone connection issue because it said the number is unavailable. Seemed quite strange but after waiting half an hour, I tried again to hear the same automated response. I tried with a different phone and it rings -- in other words, they messed up taking extremely long, setting wrong expectations, and not even reaching out to the customer to let them know there will be a delay while I sat waiting and starving and they then in turn get upset they had to take $2 off the order and block my phone number. That type of lack of accountability deserves a 1 star. Especially after as long as I've been a regular.Now I'll go somewhere that actually appreciates their customer's business.

This is my go to place for a quick grab and go Chinese food. Im usually there once or twice a week and order my comfort food "gen tso chicken" combo platter. In fact every time I call in my order, they already know what I'm going to order and have my order down. The chicken is marinated pretty good tossed in the sauce coated nicely. Comes with of choice of fried rice or white rice and either egg roll oR a hot and sour soup The food. is ready in less than 10 minutes. The interior is small with only like 2 tables, so the restaurant definitely used primarily for order pickups. I've hardly ever seen anybody dine in.
