this restaurant holds a very special place in my heart! my family and i were regulars there and would visit 1-2 times every week. however, we feel that the new owners are trying WAYYY too hard. the old touch of italy was cozy and rustic, and the new design/menu/renovations feels like olive garden. i would give anything for this restaurant to return to the way it was, because it was absolutely perfect! the new owners are trying very hard to make it a good place (kudos to them), but NOTHING will beat the atmosphere that touch of italy once was.

We were looking for a venue for our wedding reception. We met Ashly at Touch of Italy and she said they had a room for such events. It was perfect size . We wernt having alot of people (30-40) and we already knew the food was good. ASHLEY was such a big help in every part of the reception. The menu , food and quality was some of the best we've had at any wedding. Everyone at our wedding commented on the service and food. The staff was amazing and helped make for a relaxing and enjoyable experience and the price was incredibly affordable. I cant recommend enough having an event here. Talk to Ashly , she is one of the best I've met at her job.

It's nice to continue to enjoy this restaurant and watch it evolve under new owners. I continue to enjoy dinners at A Touch of Italy. I have been in for lunch now three times and have enjoyed every entrée I've ordered. I love their local beers on tap.

The absolute worst place we have ever been to! Olive garden puts them to shame and that ain't saying much. Don't let the crowd fool you! We didn't take our leftovers home, it was so disappointing!

Went with my wife for our weekly date night on Friday a few weeks ago. I had the veal parm subbed vodka sauce and it was really good. We had mozzarella sticks for an appetizer they could have had more flavor but they were good. Overall food was good. Would definitely go back again service was decent too we reserved online and they had a table waiting for us.

Very cute and cozy space. Honestly, the best part was the bread and oil - so good. Service was quick and everyone was attentive. The food was tasty and cooked perfectly. My only complaint would be the portion sizes. For the price of the food I'd like a little more. I never finish my food and always have leftovers, but this portion was small enough that I ate it all. Also, not a ton of choices when it came to appetizers or kids menu.

Last night for NYE with a packed house our service and food was excellent! The veal is best in Atlantic County and my martini was on point! Becky our server was also amazing!

We were a party of 6 and have dined here before. Our waitress was very attentive, however, the 4 pizza entrees came out 30 minutes after the 2 pasta dishes and were cold. Not only did it mess up the table waiting for everyone's food so we could eat together, but the quality of the food was poor as the pizzas were burned slightly. When we brought it to the waitresses attention, she offered to put them back in the oven to heat them up, despite them already being burned. Will not go back, very expensive for very little value and overall very poor experience.

We just had a private event here and everything was fantastic! The private events area was very nice and large. The food was outstanding, and the servers were super attentive. All guests had a great time. Management was friendly and easy to work with. I’d definitely book another event here soon.

The restaurant is supposed to soon be undergoing extensive renovations by new owners but the charm of the place is it's uniquely S Jersey, old fashioned decor and good wait staff. The pear salad, eggplant rollantini and escarole soup were good. I was disappointed with my chicken Parmesan. The sauce was bland and slightly sweet and the chicken could have been more tender. We did not have desert.
