Gaspares is always a great place for Italian. I love that in 45 years they have kept the place the same in size and quality. Maybe 12 tables so make a reservation I would have given 5 stars but they seem to be out of several items listed. So time to update the menu. No sure the right answer that they no longer have Sangiovese because they can't get it is appropriate. There are many great wines of that variety at the liquor stores for between $10 and $12 dollars. No problem if you don't want to serve it just take it off the menu!

We took my niece and her fiancé and we couldn’t have been happier. We all just love the delicious food and the way you can create your own entree by choosing between the protein, pasta and sauces. If you haven’t been you must try. Great staff and fun atmosphere. I got the Grecco with Veal Milanese style over Capellini pasta, delicious ? we also had an excellent Tiramisu for dessert. We will be back soon!

Jillian and Jenna are an excellent serving team together. Service and food were great, as usual. My wife and I often meet and converse with very nice people in the restaurant. It's a very friendly place!

The only downside was that they did not have the ingredients for several of the martinis that the had on their menu. The food was excellent. Best Shrimp Francaise sauce. All of us like our food. Would definitely go back!

1st time there with a group of 6 It felt like we were in the owners house ! The wait staff get a 10+ Jillian was fabulous! The food was cooked to order and delicious! 1 diner was gluten free but they don't have GF pasta but tons of grease vegetables Can't wait to go back Even the drinks were great

Have been going to Gaspare's for over 30 yrs and it is our Mother's favorite; however, Mom has limited mobility these days and the space is now too small. Last night, there was no room for her to get up and leave the restaurant because there seemed to be an extra table added to the dining room floor. The problem exiting lead to the 3 Star Overall rating.

Small Italian restaurant in Egg Harbor Township with full bar license. Several quality cocktails on drink menu along with a reasonably good wine selection. Food was above average. The every day menu is too extensive and should be paired down. Several really good specials were also available. All in all a quality restaurant that you should definitely try

I have never been spoken to before as I did by that horrendous woman. Reading the reviews it is clear to see it’s a problem with her and not anyone else. Not by anyone in my life was I spoken to with the ultimate disrespect when I came in to pick up my first food order. My first ever delivery and I made a very small mistake of almost leaving without the full order (presuming everything was in the one bag which was completely my mistake). She degraded me and spoke to me like complete trash in front of everyone. Her young lady assistant also at the front desk died from embarrassment as I apologized and said it’s my first time, luckily the nice lady said “don’t worry it’s ok”. The woman gave me a death stare (because you know how dare I defend myself) and continued to hurl abuse at me and I said “have you never made a mistake when you are learning something new?” To which she pathetically replied “no.” Laughable. All it needed was a polite “excuse me miss, we are still working on the rest of the order don’t leave yet”. A miserable woman who hates working behind a desk in a restaurant, clearly. AVOID this place like the plague. Would not go here if I was PAID.*EDIT TO RESPOND TO COMMENT FROM OWNER*Like it matters who I am. I live in the neighborhood I was a dasher that day but I could have been a customer another day and there was no need to be spoken to the way I did and the fact you think it’s ok to speak to me like that just because in that visit I wasn’t eating your food says a lot about you and your morals and values. Hope you shut down.

The atmosphere is cozy because the inside is quite small but the food is excellent and the service is top notch. Kayla was our server today and she was fun and attentive. She enjoyed joking around with us without being intrusive. We loved Gaspare's!! We loved the food and we especially loved Kayla!!! We will definitely return - again and again. Art Farnum
Food was good and fresh The server was not flexible - you get what you get the only problem was we really didn't know what we would get versus what we ordered. The Resturant did not carry any sparkling water or club soda. I asked for the pasta to be on another plate and I was told it was an extra charge. With all the different dishes on the menu they didn't carry ice cream or gelato. Some training and flexibility would go a long way

I made reservations for 4:30. We arrived 7 minutes early. We were greeted with not a hello or welcome, but “reservations “? At the time, there was 1 other table in use. This is not the first time we have revealed this kind of non Welcome. The food is EXCELLENT, but they need to treat their guests better. We will have to stick to take out in the future

Ordered a bistro salad with grilled chicken. It was awful charged 17$ and it was missing craisins and walnuts, and the chicken was cheesesteak chicken. I basically got charged 17$ for a garden salad. Won’t order from there again.

Cayla Excellent she always makes us feel right at home..She worked so hard solo on memorial weekend with her wisdom teeth out and in pain.All the staff is great and very kind .We had my Mother laws 100 bday here Jan 22..People are so nice Jill made her feel so great with her kindness.and to the kids who attended.ialso. We have been comming here a long time .Good place..Nice owners.
