There is only a "QUALITY GUARANTEE", and For carry-out orders, the Quality Guarantee must be claimed in-store by bringing the original pizza order to the same restaurant where the pizza was ordered and made.My issue wouldn't have been noticable with a quick peek into the pizza box, because I was lucky to order the EPIC STUFFED CRUST with mozzarella and "ricotta" in the crust... And that's where my unsatisfied cravings were met. I picked up my pizza around 9:45pm on one of the coldest nights this year, so I was paying more attention to trying not to freeze and assumed that my specialty pizza was just as special as the commercial made them out to be. After paying $27.00 for 1 large pizza, I drove 25 minutes to get to my eating destination. I finally get to sit down and grab a slice, and to my surprise there was nothing special at all, NO sign of "ricotta" in the crust anywhere, and since it was so late in the night, there was no way to go 25 minutes back follow the restaurants QUALITY GUARANTEE protocols to get my equal value replacement, so I figure a quality control warning should be available to others so they won't make the same mistake i did. This is just another "the commercial is better than the real thing" situation. Next time I have $27.00, I'll find somewhere else to spend it that doesn't have so many strict guidelines if I find myself not satisfied... Thank you

Manager is extremely rude and dismissive. Tried to blame me for placing the order wrong and when shown proof they just made the pizza wrong he said he wouldn't do anything since we ate a slice and walked away. I threw my plate away when I realized it was wrong and disgusting. Wasted $25.

Shah the GM of store #5165 was very unprofessional towards myself and my wife. At 4:30pm today I called to place an order for delivery. I was still at work, but my wife and children were home. They asked if we could order Papa John's tonight. So the lady who took our order was very worried about up selling items. I wanted to order the garlic stuffed crust pizza. She asked if I wanted it to be extra large for two dollars more. I said fine no problem. I also ordered a small pizza and boneless buffalo wings. When the items were delivered, I had an extra large original pizza, not stuffed crust, and the two other items. So at 5:05 PM I called the store to explain the mixup. Shah answered the phone and told me that there was no mixup. He made the food correctly. I said OK well, where is the girl who took my order. He said it is a call center and it's not his fault. I said that I just wanted my correct order delivered to me. He said he is not delivering it because he's too busy and if I want it, I need to come to the store. At this point, we went back-and-forth, saying how I shouldn't have to come to the store if I paid the delivery fee and a tip. Finally, he hung up on me. I called back and he hung up on me again. Then my wife called at 5:15pm and asked to speak to the manager. Shah is the one who answered the phone and he said please hold and put her on hold for 10 minutes. He then answered the phone saying hi how can I help you? She said I need to speak to a manager and he said I am the manager. If shah is the manager, then why did he put her on hold for 10 minutes?Those two went back-and-forth and she did say well. If you didn't f*** up my order, I wouldn't be having this situation. His response was "I did not f*** up your order, and I am not making you s***** And then he hung up on her. Once I got off of work, I went over to Papa John's. Shah said if I go to the store then I can have my food. I get to the store at 6:55 PM. I speak to Anna, she said she is the manager on duty. I explained to her the situation, and she politely said that's not a problem. I will remake your pizza and I will give you 25% off your next order. I said thank you all I really want is the pizza that I ordered so that way I can go home. She said not a problem. I went to go sit down and 10 minutes later she came back out to me and said that she has to apologize. She had to call the GM, Shah, just to approve comping the food. He instructed her that she is not allowed to make my food, and that I am now banned from ever buying food from Papa John's again. I have been a loyal customer of Papa John's for over 20 years. And my wife orders Papa John's regularly. My daughter loves Papa John's because of the garlic dipping sauce. And now we are no longer allowed to give Papa John's our money. This is absolutely unacceptable.

Ordered from here back when they first opened. My favorite pizza is Pizza Hut hands down. Gave papa johns a shot like I do with all pizza places around here. Ordered 2 pizzas one stuffed crust and one something else.. they looked very similar to Pizza Hut when I opened the boxes so I was thinking oh sweet.. but these papa johns pizzas… wow, they tasted like absolute garbage. The dough tasted like it was burnt yet it was under cooked. The cheese and sauce were bland. Ordered for pick up and arrived like 15 minutes late, Pizza wasn’t even done. Don’t recommend. Also got a papadia or whatever it’s called. It wasn’t as bad as the pizza but still wouldn’t recommend at all
