My husband and I travel for work and are always checking out all types of restaurants... but specifically Mediterranean and Lebanese because when done right they're my faves. This place is a little hidden gem where the mom is in the kitchen cooking authentic cuisine. I had the tabouli and a chicken shawarma on a salad, and it was soooo good. The chicken literally melted in your mouth. My husband had the chicken shawarma platter with rice and baba ganoush. All excellent. I wish I took pictures of everything. The owner also came out to say hello and we told him we will definitely be back! Highly recommend.

I relied on some other reviews - especially those written by others from northern NJ! - when selecting this spot. Definitely worth the drive from AC, since we haven't found decent food there at all. We had the mezze platter, the chicken shish tawook over rice, and the fried cauliflower over rice. All delicious. The meat was moist and well seasoned. Everything on the mezze platter was so good. Service was efficient and gracious. We will definitely go back next time we're in the area.

I bought a falafel sandwich for $12.99, roughly twice the price it should be. It was one of the worst falafel sandwiches that I've ever eaten; bland and overly dry. I wouldn't order again. I also ordered stuffed grape leaves. 6 of them for $12! They were so bad that it might have been easier to eat the $12. We ate 1/2 of one grape leaf and threw the rest away. My wife said, "That's one of the worst things I've ever tried to eat!" You can tempt fate if you like, but I'm never eating here again.

I ate dinner here tonight. The service was attentive and served quickly. The food was very good. I highly recommend having a meal here . I enjoyed the atmosphere and everyone was so friendly. I had chicken that was delicious. The other entree that my Mother had was the lamb kabob and she said it was very good. I also had the homemade hummus-with charred pita triangles, also very good. Of course we had to have the baklava for dessert it was delicious.

The exterior is not too inviting. The interior needs decorative maintenance, a calling out to a professional designer. But the food certainly makes up for it. Delicious and tasty tabuli salad and chicken schwarma fit the bill. 3.5 stars.

The time we had dinner there was a party going on and it was rather noisy. Children were playing and screaming. Too bad they weren't contained in the private room assigned to the party.

Don't let the look of this place fool you! It is EXCELLENT! Authentic and absolutely delicious Mediterranean cuisine. We are from Northern NJ, and this place beats any place we have been to by us, and we have been to a lot! Mezze plater was the bomb, and the lamb chops were cooked to perfection! When you pull up, don't drive away! You will not regret eating here!
Doesn't look like much when driving past it but given I miss the cuisine from northeast NJ/NY, I had to give it a try. While it might not have some of the authentic dishes available, the food was good. I even asked for a Turkish coffee (not on the online menu) and got a delicious Turkish coffee. I'll certainly go back with some friends and coworkers now that I finally stopped by for lunch.
