All the food was good but I didn't think it was too much choir, for how little one asks for so much money, first time boy and last

It is an excellent restaurant, they only need to improve the bathrooms, they are in very poor condition.

If I could leave a comment with zero star, it would be terrible service, a special took 30 minutes to serve and the food they served me was bad, it had a rotten smell.
I can be a cynic. There are dishes and drinks that just require authenticity from their creators. Think sushi in a Cuban joint. Yes, it is a bias but I have been corrected.El Salvadoreño Restaurant in Elizabeth NJ serves a delicious cosmopolitan that would rival any proper bar in the tri-state area. Their pupusas are equally elevated by an ever so slightly toastiness on the outside and the sensual, melted decadence of cheese and beans in the middle. Their salsa and curtido are homemade, of course they are, and are home-country legit. It is heartwarming to see families enjoy an evening of great drinks and food while trying out the table-side karaoke that arrives and insists you take a turn at one of the mariachi classics.

I’m highly disappointed in this restaurant. I’ve ordered food from here through ubereats twice and they didn’t include my second order of pupusas yet again. I’ve payed for what i wanted and to receive only one is really disappointing and irritating. I will not be ordering here anymore.

Food can improve. The pupusas don't taste that good. There are other small places that make them tastier and put more effort into quality. Ok atmosphere.

The food is ok, I expected more. I don't think I will return in a while though because of the bathrooms. My dad went to this restaurant in 1998 and he said the bathrooms are still dirty and terrible at that time and still currently. The bathroom stall are all vandalized and have a horrible stink as you get in. I hope this restaurant can fix the bathrooms….
