Terrible cop. Cop that is stationed there is terrible and assumes people with no valid reason. Terrible environment.

So I was about to buy pastries from here for my job. We always get them from Bella Palermo but wanted to try something new. Fortunately I was treated very nasty before I bought the pastries. I needed to put a quarter in the parking meter but I only had 2 dimes and 5 pennies so I asked them if they had a quarter in exchange for my 2 dimes and 5 pennies. The woman looked at me very annoyed and the man said to me “no we don’t take pennies because we have no use for pennies.” I thought he was joking but he was serious. So I left and noticed the place was empty. Now I know why. I marched right over to Bella Palermo where I know they are nice and have great pastries and great service. Also, I just saw the other reviews from people. For years this place has been getting bad reviews, how are they even open? What’s more shady is that there are no responses from the owner or representative of this place. I wonder if this is even a legit business or some type of cover up for money laundering. Question to ponder.

This is a tough one to review. The food and baked goods are amazing. However, the price of their birthday cakes are outrageous! I was originally charged $105 for a cake that fed 15 to 20 ppl. I would have easily paid it if it had been done to my specifications. I had spent over 30 minutes with Rosa explaining what I wanted. We were in agreement. However, when I went to pick up the cake, it was not even close to what I ordered. I was pissed!! If you are charging ppl $105, then you should make absolutely sure that the cake is made how the customer ordered it. I searched all the other bakeries in the area, and they were by far the most expensive. The ONLY reason I chose them was because a dear friend recommended them. She was with me when I ordered the cake. She, herself, couldn't believe how bad they screwed up. This cake was for my mom, so I really didn't care how much about how much it would have cost, as long as it was done right. However, somehow, the directions that were drawn on the order sheet got translated or read wrong. If that wasn't bad enough, there was no one in charge when I picked up the cake, so I spent a long time there trying to explain that I was not paying $105 for a cake that was not made how I wanted. I wanted my mom to have the best-looking cake that tasted amazing, but obviously, that didn't happen. By the way, the cake tasted good. I just didn't like the design. The dominoes were supposed to be on top of the cake (they looked like a small child drew them) and they placed them on the side of the cake, the coqui and palm tree were supposed to be actual figures on top of the cake, not a flat picture. The green border looked cheesy, as well. I was so disappointed!

Food and cakes are not very good . The tress leche was sour and tacos were soggy. Will not call again. Location needs cleaning and staff has dirty uniforms.

Good late night/early morning food and coffee but the place is dirty in need of renovation and they need to kick the homeless out that always sleep on the tables taking up space.

I ordered Qty: 40 Beef Pastelitos for my son's High School Event Night that I was going to donate. I placed an order days ahead. I called on the day it was agreed upon to be ready and time and asked if it was ready which was 1pm. They said no. I let them know I needed the order to be ready by 3pm, they said ok. They then called me back several minutes later to let me know that they would not have the order ready, and that the baker had left and that there was no more beef left to have my order ready. I had to call another bakery and have them fill my order within 2 hours of the event. We have been customers of this bakery for the holidays as well as my extended family. As of today, we will no longer shop here as they do not take care about their customers' needs and do not care if customers are left to make other arrangements for their orders. Lack of professionalism.

$12 for Orenge Juice$10 for Sabadorian breakfastTotal: $12.88It is a highway robbery. My drink was more then my food. When I came in the lady asked me if I wanted a med or large. I always get a large. She never told me the price. I always paid $5 for an orange juice. I could of gone somewhere else. This is my second time going.
