If you live close and never tried definitely recommend you get a combo. Also the steak was very tasteful and seasoned good. Not that expensive it can feed like 2 -3 people I would say and it’s all fresh.

I was there on 1/18/24 at around 2:45 pm. ordered a large pollo/bbq chicken @ $23.00 for a whole chicken. When I got home I received 1/2 chicken and a huge serving of rice and fries. Although delicious, I felt that my lack of speakng spanish and not a regular patron allowed for the slight. A whole chicken has 2 of everything. there was only one wing, thigh, breast cut in half and a tiny drum stick. The whole chicken would have fed my family of 4 with leftovers. Will try again but will verify b/4 I leave the premises. I gave him a $2 and change tip. I will start going to the Spanish grill spot near North Ave and 1&9. They're more honest.Parking: if you don't have any change you're taking your chances of getting a ticket

This is a take out place for amazing Portuguese barbecue chicken. It comes with rice, French fries, and a roll. The chicken is fall off the bone tender and very flavorful. The price is very reasonable. You can call ahead and place an order for pick up. Parking can be a challenge at certain times so it’s easiest if 2 people go and one runs in to get the food while the other drives around the block. It’s worth the little bit of challenge to enjoy their great chicken and rice!
