The curry chicken with dhal puri gave me food poisoning. I was sick all day. If you know if curry is not cooked properly it can make you sick… and this is what clearly happened to me. Will never order from here again.

Good here is good but the phone system is lagging calling ahead for pick up to put in an order is a mess most days if u have time to stop in order and then come back then you'll be great if not it's not where u wanna go small niche shop good weekend cultural meals on Saturday especially food hits egg balls chow mein oxtail er I can tell if or when another chef is cooking though I guess they have to take days off . All I'm all good is 3.5 but when the main chef is there I can taste the 5 star review , let's get the phone together please I haven't been in 3 months due to that issue but I would definitely go back if I can call ahead as I don't live close and rather not have to wait long but definitely worth a. Every j*** chicken I've had since I moved to Jersey has been more sweet than anything else. But not this one.This j*** chicken is the one. Spicy, flavorful, tender. Goes amazing with their rice and peas. Some of the best I've had!

First time trying Guyanese cuisine. It appears to be similar to Jamaican cuisine to which I also enjoy. Food was delicious. Cabbage was good. My only complaint would be is they treated the brown stew chicken as if was oxtail meaning I received more oxtail than I did chicken which is not normally the case at any location that serves oxtail. The poller juice was also excellent. Wasn't too fond of the cheese patty but I'd recommend the beef. I also enjoyed their rice and peas.

This was truly a treat! The food was great. Our dining party got the j*** chicken, the brown stew chicken, and the curry chicken, plus plantains. Everybody was thrilled with their dishes, with the silence of eating often interrupted by exultations of joy at the flavors.We also got two chicken curry patties, and they were so good, I find myself craving one of those flaky delights right now.The pricing was very reasonable, the hot sauce is great, and it's delicious food served by friendly and helpful people. I'm adding this to my list of places to return to.
